We visited this Tea Room on recommendation and really enjoyed our visit one lunch time. There was a brilliant menu with plenty of choice for all types of "foodies". The service was quick and the food was first class and very reasonably priced. We will certainly visit again when staying in Torquay.

Had coffee and cake after a busy day , owners were pleasant and although it was ten minutes before closing made us a brew . We also had plain cake and chocolate orange cake unfortunately the chocolate orange was marmalade which my wife doesn't like and was rather dry .

We had breakfast at the singing kettle and everyone's varying dietary requirements (including a gluten free, a veggie, a pregnant lady, a semi gluten free and a dairy intolerant!) were met leaving a table of happy diners :) The staff were friendly and also gave me some good gluten free baking tips :) I would highly recommend a visit if... These people pay attention to the food being served to everyone so they get what they ordered especially those with food allergies. The food was very good and the taste was yummy. Friendly staff.

If you like proper British food that's well cooked, served by friendly staff then this place is for you. We have been here before last year and even though this visit was in October, it was still lively. Didn't have to wait long for the food though, which is faultless. If you like the cream teas (which are delicious), then... More

Marlene and her team were excellent. Chose this place due to catering for gluten free members of the party. We pre-ordered and everything was promptly served after some last minute checks. Food was delicious and everyone enjoyed their food. Thank you!!
