Been coming to Plymouth for years both for leisure and for business. Cap'n Jaspers just seems to be a tradition. You're not expecting 5 star cuisine when you come here but you know you will get good food at a reasonable price. Great place to...More

Began decades ago in a ramshackle but backing onto the old fish market and gained popularity and an eccentric reputation by John Dudley’s louche toff personality and determination to pile it high, sell it cheap, serve everyone at all permitted hours with an ever growing...More

This has to be one of the best places to visit for a coffee/tea or burger. Have been here several times and never really had to wait long. The food and drinks are all great value for money.

A brilliant spot for breakfast by Plymouth Harbour. The sausage, bacon and egg baps are fantastic - a big hit with the whole family.

Visited regularly as my husband loves their burgers and love the location on the Barbican. Unfortunately standards are no better than a lay-by burger van if that. The last time was indeed the last and I refused to let my children eat the food. Observed...More

Server just stared at me over the counter with a completely blank expression. Just like a shop dummy. After feeling uncomfortable I thought I’d speak first. I ordered two sausage sandwiches and coffee. No thank you or smile, just “six pounds.” Whatever was served in...More
