I stumbled on the reservoir (the actual body of water) and had a short walk round it and the gardens, learning some interesting stuff from the interpretation boards, before deciding to have a coffee and pastry by way of a mid morning snack. Both were...More

Lively, often bustling lunch pit-stop just off North Hill in the Uni complex. It's sort-of high-school canteen, sort-of student/lecturer stop-off, sort-of haven away from the filthy North Hill. It's nice. The lunch options range from incredibly tasty salads, toasted/grilled bruschettas and spuds and there's various...More

The food here is very good. It's a shame the lady with short blonde hair is quite rude (carol?). Deciding to charge for the cutlery when it suits her (and then b*tching about the customer she had just charged for cutlery to another member of...More

A very warm day creating a perfect sun trap beside the reservoir and the two gentle fountains. Good selection of healthy food particularly veggie options. Pleasant friendly feel but still busy even after a lot of the uni regulars have left for the summer. Peaceful...More

A buzzing little cafe, staff are ever so friendly and welcoming; informal relaxed atmosphere inside, and the food and drink couldn't be better - especially the excellent generous mixed salads, and cake. Run on sustainability principles. Nice setting.

Called in for a late light lunch, so the soup & bruschetta on offer fitted the bill. We were lucky to get served as there were only 2 portions left; the reason they'd nearly run out was obvious when we tucked in - the mushroom...More

friendly staff, great coffee and meal deals at the best prices. Easy to miss this little gem off North Hill, the other side of the reservoir. They do BBQ Thursdays and feature a monthly food/drink.

This cafe is perfect for a sunny day as you can sit on the benches outside overlooking the reservoir. The salads are really nice and big for £4 and the cakes and other treats are also delicious! A really nice place
