Wasn't planned but stopped in here for lunch, it was very nice but a little expensive for a panini and a coffee-£10.50. Friendly staff. Clean and freshly prepared food. If I wasn't on a diet I would have had a cake but it was probably a good idea I was because I would have struggled deciding which one to have... More

Many thanks for your lovely review of By the Park. We are so pleased that you enjoyed your visit with us. Just to clarify, our panini cost £4.90 and our coffees range from £1.90 - £2.60 and so would cost roughly £7.00. It seems that an error has been made which we apologise for and have tried to contact you... More

My daughter recommended this shop and we ordered from here. We rang the shop and then came to collect them. They were quick, great service and amazing panini's!

Second visit to the cafe. Reasonably priced coffee and the most delicious lemon drizzle cake. Really like it here, immaculately clean and pleasant, friendly service. Relaxing place to have a chat and something yummy.

Regularly come here to get panini's and they are so amazing! Also the carrot cake is to die for! Always feel very welcome and the cafe is set out so well. Very cozy. Love it!

I love this cafe! Nicky and the staff are friendly. It is kept immaculately clean with a good varied menu. Children are made to feel welcome and there is now an outdoor seating area which gives the feeling of being abroad on a sunny day! This is a perfect spot next to the park and is a must if you're... I've only used this establishment once with my wife and 3 year old Granddaughter. The folks here were very helpful and friendly towards all of us. I can't remember what we had to eat, but as I don't recall my visit as a bad experience I can only say that "as I remember it everything was good"

This is a nice little cafe just tucked away off the Hoe front. Well run with good food and staff. Have popped in for just coffee and sometimes for a nice baguette for lunch. All seems to be fresh and well presented

Looking for a quiet spot to enjoy brunch and read the morning papers? Look no further. I'm almost reluctant to share this recommendation as I don't want too many people turning up as I might not get a seat!

Whilst walking around the park in Plymouth came across this little gem. We had baguettes and sandwiches. It cost £21 for the four of us which I thought was reasonable. The quality was good and the team were friendly and pleasant. Well worth a visit as they also do take aways if the little ones don't want to leave the... More

Whilst staying in the vicinity we were able to visit this delightful cafe a few times. The menu is varied, homemade and delicious. The food is freshly prepared and extremely tasty. The atmosphere is relaxed, welcoming and cosy with a gorgeous little sun trap and chairs outside. We sampled the paninis, cakes and breakfast. I would recommend all the food... More

Opened just before the August Bank Holiday in the large ground floor of a big old Victorian terraced house beside West Hoe Park and about two hundred metres from the sea. This is a clean simple modern family cafe with a couple of tables out front near the childrens play area and the servery and several wooden tables inside. There is already a Facebook support page and during the opening week it has been busy on wet and dry days. Easily justifies an entry. There has been a recent small surge in the large waterfront area involving independent small tea and home made fresh cake and snack businesses. Things are looking up.
