Sunday roasts are the best in Plymouth, having to book in August just goes to show how amazing they taste. All the staff are happy, friendly and ready for a chat to make you feel welcome.

Whilst visiting Plymouth for The British Fireworks Championships ( which incidentally are absolutely amazing and well worth a trip) we made a return visit to The Fisherman's Arms having found this delightful pub on a similar visit last year. There is a wide range of food on the main menu and a few others on the specials board. The service... More

Historic pub on the edge of the Barbican / a housing estate. Friendly staff and very reasonable prices. Didn't try the food, but looked and sounded good. They even have a small menu for dogs - no kidding! A mixture of old and modern decor in themed rooms; including Mexican and old Plymouth. Worth a visit to escape the crowd.

On a recent trip to Plymouth, this pub was recommended to us by the owners of the B&B where we were staying. We are so glad that we made the effort to locate it. Slightly set back from the marina, this pub is in our opinion far better than the other run of the mill establishments on the waterside catering... More

Description
Pleasantly situated overlooking the Barbican, the Fishermans Arms is a country pub located in the middle of Britain's Ocean City. Real ales, a warm and friendly atmosphere and excellent food. The food is good quality and great value. Reputedly the second oldest pub in Plymouth (grade 2 listed), we are steeped in history and have one of the last surviving remnants of the original Plymouth Castle.
