We ate in Le Bistro on a very rainy and miserable Thursday evening. The staff at Le Bistro brightened up our evening. The meal from start to finish was lovely. I had the stroganoff and my partner had the pork and we both thoroughly enjoyed our choice. We were also given delicious olives and a basket of warm rolls prior... More

We walked in without booking and received a warm welcome. It's all a bit tired and old fashioned with a simple traditional old school menu but cooked very well. Overall a tasty meal in a nice atmosphere with attentive service. For us the portions were quite small (especially the small amount of rice with the salmon) and having swede as... More

We had a nights stay in lynmouth and had a look locally for food and found that this place was the best for value and looked lovely inside. I was very impressed with everything. The service was great and the food really well cooked. Would thoroughly recommend.

What a little gem. A real French Bistro. Beautifully prepared and presented food with nothing too much trouble. I had the special seafood crepe with some very nice (though not French) wine. Good sized portions, if a little too generous for us.

Arrived in the area later than expected on a Friday evening and couldn't eat at our Lynton hotel as it was full - so instead opted for a wander round Lynmouth at the bottom of the hill. I've eaten at Le Bistro numerous times over the past 10 years and always had good food so it was a bit of... More
