I was pretty surprised to find that this place caters brilliantly for gluten free guests as well as everyone else. Given the location and size I didn’t expect it and have a separate menu - and distinct prep procedures for such. The cream teas -...More

Visited this tearoom twice in the week I visited Devon ! The scones were fabulous and the black currant and apple cake was to die for! My husband had a cream filled doughnut and it was amazing ! Can't wait to go back

Lovely staff and location which was let down by poor food. As parents we try and give the kids something other than cakes and cookies for lunch. A good example of simple Cafe food is the harbour lights in Boscastle. Simple, tasty and good quality....More

On advice of Rick Steve, we stopped at Cottage for lunch on way down the cobblestone road to the Clovelly harbor. Having had a delicious crab sandwich the day before, we ordered more...but to our dismay found it tasteless and dry...We figured (and probably should...More

A traditional tearoom with a variety of delicious home made cakes. Served the best coffee in the area.

A wonderful place, staff were super friendly and very knowledgeable about the history of Clovelly. Their crab sandwiches are excellent, well worth it for a nice light lunch, and you could always finish off with a Bill's Special. It is a jam doughnut, slightly warmed,...More

We had a fanstastic cream tea for 2 in the team room garden, and this was perhaps one of fhe best webhave ever had, and well worth a visit.

Very enjoyable light lunch and tea. Welcoming staff and prompt service. The scones were fresh and light and served with quality jam and cream. The “most amazing apple and blackcurrant” cake was excellent. Prices are very reasonable for such a location with its views over...More

Do stop for the view rather than the customer service which is a little Fawlty Towers. "Don't ask for a second cup as their answer is likely to offend" - so said the sign. How offensive would their answer be and how many people as...More

We stopped here for refreshments after the steep climb down to the harbour. There’s an outside terrace with stunning views and the cakes were delicious and inexpensive.

I think it would be fine to have a dog outside as there's a lot of outside seating but probably not inside, but I'm not certain. I think it's a better place to be in fine weather so outside I guess.
