Scones were OK-a bit dry and crumbly for my taste. Tea was good. Coffee was good. Soup was good. Service was quick.

Excellent cafe serving excellent snacks. If you wish to visit the castle but have a family member or friend who doesn't want to climb up the steep steps to the castle, they may well enjoy waiting here. Food is filling and enjoyable.
Fabulous cafe right down on the beach looking directly at the castle. Tables in and out. The coffee is really good as were the scones. other peoples hot food looked amazing too - even local fish. Fascinating old photos indoors
