I regret only enjoying a pot of tea! Felt this was more of a restaurant than a cafe. The late lunch meals looked impressive and the customer comments which I overheard were highly appreciative. This is a small establishment and it is possible for all of the customers to have an ocean view. I felt very welcome and unrushed even... More

Magnificent views, lovely fresh food, good service. Lunchtime visit, glass of wine, mussels followed by cheeseboard. Dog friendly; a real bonus as st Ives is not dog friendly in the amin

Whether you come for very reasonably priced breakfast, lunch or supper this is a special place. On New Years Eve I sat here with all the family watching a pod of Dolphins - yes really cynical oldest! - crossing the bay from the window of the restaurant. Amazing! Food is consistently good and it doesn't break the bank. Veg breakfast... More

When we knew we were visiting St Ives out of season we thought we had better book our Sunday meal in advance as so many or the St Ives restaurants close for the winter. Porthgwidden Beach Cafe has always been one of our favourites and was based on previous experience the best that was open. By booking early we made... More

Have visited this cafe many times both in and out of season. It never fails to disappoint with it's beautiful food and very welcoming staff. The setting is one of the best in St Ives being off the beaten track so a fabulous place to kick back and relax. Well done you guys

We thought it was more of a café but its really a restaurant. Good quality food & a great view. On the small side but adds to the charm. Outside area also.

After a 6 hour journey to St Ives it's always good to look forward to a good, tasty breakfast on arrival (having pre-booked the window seat!) Only had scrambled egg on toast but it was cooked to perfection.
