Ate here a few times on our break. Great staff and very welcoming. Excellent Sunday roast with all the trimmings. Also enjoyed the stone bass and the slow cooked lamb. Enjoyed by all, well cooked food and good value for money

We did not stay at this hotel but we ate a really robust meal, I ordered beef stew with dumplings and veg and my wife had sea bass which she also thoroughly enjoyed. There was also entertainment on that evening which was very good.

This hotel, situated as it is in the centre of St Ives, cannot be faulted for its location. The food and service was also very very good but, unfortunately, it is let down by the absence of parking spaces. For anyone not in a car this place is to be thoroughly recommended but for those travelling to St Ives by... More

This is a very attractive place, comfortably and tastefully furnished, with a good choice of beers, and the food is great - freshly made from scratch. They also have live music on Saturdays.

Called in for a quick family lunch just before last orders for food - but no problem. And someone KNOWS how to fry here. The batter on the fish was light, crisp and tasty, the onion rings with the burger were fresh, not frozen, and the chips were perfect. The mussels were delicious and the beer was pretty good too.... I went for a roast with 7 friends all of which eat meat. The only vegetarian roast option was a stack of goats cheese, which I don't eat either. So all they could offer me was extra potatoes. I asked if I would get a vegetarian gravy which is the norm everywhere else I eat. And was told no, I... More

Went in off the street and received a good welcome. Ate mackerel with salad and chips. Too many chips for us. Would have preferred bread really. Generous portion and very swift service.
