We picked up two pasties planning on eating them on the train the next day. Absolutely wonderful -- but these pasties are BIG. We could only make it through one -- so you may want to plan on splitting these in half and sharing them! Very friendly and helpful staff.

Was able to pop in and buy some jars as gifts for my partner and for my mum. Lady briefly explained the bestsellers and that they were locally made. Quick service, and lovely viewing area to see pasties etc being made. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for an authentic Cornish gift for family or friends!

We buy from here everytime were in St Ives and this time we brought 6 to take home, afraid to say they were not so good, lacking seasoning and were so dry. we love watching them make the pasties and over the years we have brought many, were returning soon and we will buy again don't let your popularity ruin... we have been visiting St Ives for many year (and tested many pasties over this time). Penganna are still the best - lovely juicy filling and melt in the mouth pastry

After emailing this firm with regards to a traditional pasty containing little more than onion and getting no response i feel its now appropriate to share my concerns. Firms like this should not be on the high street in St ives representing Cornwall I bought 3 traditional pasties and after a few bites of one of the the rest went... More

There was a queue out the door and an award sign in the window. However the traditional and lamb pasties were dey and full of potato. The apple turn over and sausage roll was fine. I was surprised by this dryness - possibly my first and last ever taste of a Cornish pastie!

Queue outside the shop is a good sign. Tried both the steak pasties and scones in this bakery. Worth a visit, food was good quality and a good price. I liked the way the pasty was made, not overdoing the pastry so that there was more pastry than meat and vegetables. Excellent value.

We always visit Pengenna Pasties when we're in St Ives which is at least 3 or 4 times a year. They always did the best pasties and were really great value. But this year I have to admit to being really disappointed. For a start they got our order wrong as I'd asked for a traditional and a lamb &... More

This is always on our list of 'must dos' when visiting Cornwall...a proper pasty from Pengenna's. The shop itself is very quaint and traditional and you can see the pasties being made by hand. The pasties themselves are delicious and not like the high street bakery versions that are covered in very flakey puffed up pastry; these beauties are crisp... More
