The Deli popped up on my Tripadvisor feed thingy and I thought I couldn't not say how much I enjoy the breakfasts there. I am a fussass scrambled egg person (not too sloppy, not overworked, not too hard - you get the drift), well the eggs here are amazing, as are all the elements of get breakfast; Great bread, smoked... We went for breakfast and it was brilliant, we had to wait a little will as the food was cooked and although it was quite busy the service was fast and friendly. The waiter made an effort to make us comfortable and engaged in polite small talk. I had the smoked salmon and eggs and it was brilliant, loads of... More

We have had 2 evening meals here- this summer and last summer and both were fantastic. Seven of us are here each time and everyone agreed that this was the best meal of our holiday. Freshly cooked food, relaxed environment and good portion sizes. This Time we had the hake stew, piri piri steak and the lemon sole. Fantastic menu

Visited St Ives for the day last week. Weather was fantastic so St Ives was heaving. Come lunchtime a quick browse on Trip brought me to the Cornish Deli. We were not disappointed. Tucked just away from the bustle of the main street you could walk past without notice as Chapel Street is so narrow. We were warmly welcomed in... More

The first gluten free Cornish in St Ives - very tasty. Unfortunately the pastry was very crumbly so difficult to eat, so take away must be tricky- but I only tried it once. A disadvantage is the pre ordering and having to wait an hour or so. I'm sure the demand for gluten free is growing.

We visit regularly for lunch and have never been disappointed! Great food at a reasonable price and the best crab sandwich I have ever had! A must if you're in St Ives and feeling hungry (very generous portions!).

We had visited in 2015 for a lunch time snack and decided we must book for an evening meal this year so we did. We had starters off the tapas menu. For mains we had steak off the specials board, a massive fish dish and our son had the burger. The portions were enormous and tremendous value compared to other... More

Stumbled across this deli, drawn in by the menu and the simple decor. Superb welcome and service. Friendly waitress who gave us a bespoke meal based on the menu they had. The food was locally sourced and truly truly delicious. Highly recommend
