We have spent our family summer holidays in the St.Ives area for a good many years. For at least the last ten years our day trips into St. Ives would not have seemed complete without a lunch stop at the Beachcomber. This simple but consistently excellent little cafe offers a good range of fairly priced meals served promptly by friendly,... More

This cafe had a great view of the harbour and actually does a very decent bacon sandwich for breakfast. However, we went as a family for breakfast this morning and it was the service was very poor. We ordered four meals and three out of the four were incorrect when they arrived. There was a cream tea that should have... More

Visited here for the second time today and found it just as good as last time. This time decided to try jacket potatoes filled with either smoked Mackerel or chicken. Both were good but the smoked Mackerel excelled. One of our party had a panini melt which was as good as he remembers. Very pleasant staff keen to provide an... More

Offers a good choice of sandwiches, baguettes, cream teas, jacket potatoes etc. Prices are a little higher than other but the quality of the sandwiches is excellent and they come with a large side salad. Good location right on the edge o the harbour beach

Had a lovely lunch here with my parents on Friday 22nd July. We sat outside overlooking the harbour in the bask of the mid afternoon sun. Really friendly and attentive staff. Reasonable prices considering where it is situated. Had the best sandwich I have ever tasted.... You have to try the avocado and smoked salmon... Absolutely delicious and so fresh!... More

This place is a little gem , for people who love cream teas and fantastical naughty cakes ,the sandwiches are also a dream to eat , always have been unable to get a table in this place , now I know why , enjoyed the food so much , we visited twice while on our recent holiday . And we... More

This is our favourite cafe in St Ives, staff are so friendly, great food reasonable prices, very busy could do with being a bit bigger but this would take away its charm. If you are visiting St Ives this is well worth a visit if only for a traditional Cornish cream tea.
