Really nice little cafe with super friendly staff and a nice choice on the menu. Food came and was super fresh and very generous portions. They were also dog friendly and very helpful trying to arrange a taxi to get my disabled dad up the...hill after he lost his walking stick !More

On our first night in Port Isaac we stumbled upon the Slipway. Due to Covid 19 there was a limited availability of tables and how long we could stay. That said, the staff (Lindsey) could not have been more accommodating. They ensured we had a...table and although we had to move to another area after our meal they couldn't have made us feel more welcome. The food was freshly cooked and very tasty. Absolutely nothing to complaint about. It may not be the 'fanciest' place in Port Isaac to eat, but certainly was the most welcoming and accommodating with excellent food to boot!More

Had very lovely lunch with good food and excellent friendly efficient service. Pricey but you’re paying for the setting on top of paying for great food. We had the squid which was probably the best squid I’ve ever had and the mussels which were at...least as good as anything I’ve had before. The waits were not long at all. We sat outside.More

We were drenched, the rain had been horizontal, the seagulls had taken cover and Port Isaac was absolutely wild. The Slipway was warm, dry and welcoming, We’ll be back.

Located in the heart of the historic fishing village of Port Isaac, overlooking the harbour. Very atmospheric restaurant, in quaint surroundings, with friendly staff, and also offering bed & breakfast facilities. Good menu - offering varied choices for breakfast, lunch & dinner. And they serve...a hearty ‘afternoon tea’ option as well, which I highly recommend. Port Isaac is becoming more well-known, given the amount of filming that’s taken pace in recent years – for example, for the ‘Doc Martin’ tv series, along with the ‘Fisherman’s Friends’ movie. A real gem of a village, well worth exploringMore

My Husband and I visit port Isaac every year . We were in need of a hot drink as we had a long walk .and it was quite cold too .we qued outside for 5 mins A young blonde waiter showed us to a table.... We felt cold so went inside to try and find a table inside The waiter and lady behind the bar were more interested in serving alcoholic drinks etc We ordered a coffee and hot chocolate Waited outside in the cold For over 10 min A group of 6 people sat down behind us They ordered drinks And their alcoholic drinks arrived before our hot drinks The staff were directing new customers in to place . Whilst ignoring us and other customers who were waiting . Covid 19 or not This cafe needs to update and retrain all there staff in professional customer service . We went to Stargazy hotel And had a good experienceMore

Not bad food but the wait between courses was terrible. Staff walking about seemingly clueless. Maybe short staffed due to CV-19 but made for a long 2 course meal.

We had a lovely meal here. I had fish & chips it was hot and very tasty. My friend had mussels & there was so many served with big bread wedges. Sam our waitress was very friendly & nothing was too much trouble. The place...isn’t big but it has a very comfortable feel. Like someone’s front room. Tables are cleaned before everyone is seated. There is outside seating with heaters & under cover tooMore

So. Very. Slow. Very disorganised. We opted to not order food after watching what was going on with the tables around us. Such a shame. Even our drinks took 20mins to arrive.
