We popped into the golden lion for a couple of pints of Guinness by the fire after a lovely long walk. It's dog friendly, pulls a great pint and the staff are very friendly. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.

Popped in on the off chance of getting something to eat and was very impressed. No problem getting a table despite them being quite busy. Will pop in again on our next visit to Port Isaac.

Great pub, friendly bar staff, cool games room, chef stayed on late to make us some cheezy chips which were great. Stringy cheese not just grated cheddar and mixed through the whole bowl not just on the top!! Beer was good as well 😋

Located right by the harbour this is a great pub. Great atmosphere and friendly and efficient staff. My wife and I had the fish and chips and they were excellent, big portions and very good value. Recommended.

I would say having eaten at all but one restaurant in port Isaac that the golden lion is the best value for money. The food was fabulous, staff super friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere in the bar is relaxed and inviting, along with the roaring...More

Hi, I too have no connection with Port Isaac other than in the capacity of a tourist who visited in July 2016. You state you notched up a fine of £100 in spite of finding a parking space in the overflow car park. If this... More
