I have marked down to very good this year as on my second visit I used the Gents toilets and... More

Love this place. Great food as always. Very friendly staff and we have been going here for years and with the arrival of our baby daughter this was a place we wanted to take her. We were again greeted like a local and looked after.

This inn was close to our cottage - less than a 5 minute walk so we frequented several times during a week in Polperro. The ales and cider were mostly local and excellent. We dined here on two evenings and the food was outstanding. A very popular hostelry that has some accommodation attached to the inn.

visited for evening meal following recommendation. we both had fishermans medley, which had been looking forward to through the day. unfortunately turned out to be disappointing, the cod seemed to be fresh fish, however the rest including the chips seemed to have ome from the freezer. shame. lovely place, great bar staff.

Lovely atmosphere, comfortable and friendly. Good selection of beers and good food. Fish and chips was superb and lovely large portion. My wife had the curry which was also a great portion and cooked perfectly. Value for money too.

We called in to potentially have tea but left after a drink, well half a drink, red wine vinegar from chilli, ewh. Partners ale was well kept though. We glanced at the specials board as well as the menu which explained that the owners had been there since 2005, the menus looked like they hadnt been updated since then. Too... More
