This place was a great little find. Wanted a snack while out for a walk and we were glad the aroma lured us in. Staff are very welcoming and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. When we saw the size of the meals (huge) we opted for starters and a desert. My granddaughter had the home made soup and I... More

You would be advised to book, this place gets pretty busy especially on a Sunday lunch time, never had a bad experience here! The staff are wonderful, the food terrific and plentiful and the ambiance warm and cosy or on nice days sit outside on the terrace and watch the village go by. A little gem of a place.

We just stopped for Cornish cream tea. The scones, clotted cream and jam were wonderful. We did agree with the staff that jam goes on first, then the clotted cream. Beautiful little village and fine restaurant.

The food was absolutely fantastic clearly fresh and well presented. Try the fish salad it is to die for and fantastic value. Staff were so so friendly and accommodating. We have eaten in a few places in Looe and Polperro and the best by a country mile Well worth the visit

If you want a meal that is fresh, home made, good quality, LARGE and served with a friendly smile, this ticks all the boxes. Linda recognised me as a returning customer, which I found surprising as I have not visited Polperro in the last 4 years - excellent memory! In our 7 day trip we visited 3 times, because after...
