Every course of the six was fantastic. I loved the mackerel sashimi and squid miso broth. We had the matching wine flight which I highly recommend. Absolutely delicious.

We ate here last summer. We both had the 6 course tasting. I had it paired with the wine. Every piece of fish or shellfish that was served was cooked to the perfect texture. It was unbelievable. All were exquisite preparations with unique sauces or...More

Dined there on Saturday night and had a wonderful meal. The tasting menu really makes you try things you wouldn't normally try and each course was varied, different and so, so tasty. We love Bruce's ethos of very fresh, locally sourced food and we make...More

My husband made the reservations and I hadn't really known that we were headed for a set menu with five fish courses. I confess to a bit of trepidation at the thought of wasabi sorbet served with mackerel didn't immediately grab me. And I am...More

This was our second time at The Shore, both times when we’ve been on holiday there. Both times it’s been exceptional, and I think better the second time. Food is amazing, always something surprising in terms of ingredients and/or flavour combinations. Everything is brilliantly explained...More

Superb food all sourced locally. Each dish was a delight to admire and of course eat. Service is very friendly and efficient but reassuringly relaxed. We enjoyed the whole experience. Thank you to Bruce ( chef/owner) for putting his heart & soul into this wonderful...More
