We ordered coffee and dessert and ended up waiting for what ended up being a very long time before we received our order. The crime brûlée was rancid and was not edible. The cappuccino had spilled and was running down the sides of the cup when served. Unfortunately, this place did not seem clean; the floors were very sticky and... More

My wife and I both ordered Spicy Chicken Goujons, which were over cooked chicken pieces in batter. My wife had Tai Prawn Curry which was no more than average, I had Seabass Fillets cooked in Chilli & Lime, which came as very mushy fish with a slice of Lime on top with some Sweet Chilli dipping sauce poured over it.... This is for us a very good restaurant , as long as the food is good, staff friendly and price ok, I cannot see any reason to give a less rate:-)

Booked table for last meal before going home next day. Very very slow service. Pizza was tasteless and like a looked low value one. Olives came from a jar. Asked for no squid in seafood platter but still had them on plate. Seabass was good though. The girls did apologise and didn't charge for bottle of wine. Disapointing.

We stayed in an old converted building holiday flat called Sunny Corner2 just above this resturant so naturally we ate here a few times! The service was sometimes a little slow and the staff seemed to lack a bit of experience( nacho starter with no side plates and no napkins for example) however they were all really nice people and... This restaurant has good location and the decor upstairs was very welcoming. However the food was not as good as we had hoped. The fish was ok but not tasty. When we asked for a trio of ice cream for dessert (three scoops one each of three flavours) were told it was not possible as kitchen was too small....which seemed... More

On the final day of a weeks visit to Penzance, we stopped here for a final holiday meal. After taking one bite of my burger and realising it was fish when I am a vegan and have been for a while, I was slightly disappointed by a lack of explanation when my food was returned after being whisked away for... Interesting building in an interesting location. Had lunch here and the food was tasty but the servers didn't really seem to know what was going on around them but they were still very polite.

Really enjoyed our evening meal.I enjoyed the fresh local sole and my partner had the Thai prawn curry. With my sole came the most beautifully cooked french beans I have been served anywhere ever. The Thai curry was just right. The portions were spot on for us.I did see large burgers go to the next table so from the varied menu it is...
