Don't be put off by the understated front of this place. We popped in for a quick lunch not expecting too much. I had the goats cheese and red onion marmalade panini, my wife had the brie and bacon toastie and our daughter had a jacket patato. The food came quickly was hot and really tasty. Next time we fancy... More

Our party of six enjoyed hot chocolates with and without the trimmings, jacket potatoes, tea cakes and a ham baguette. Everybody left thinking good thoughts and would happily return. £34 for 6 drinks and 3 1/2meals was a little pricey but not major issue for what was served up and in a pleasant and friendly Harbourside café

We called in here for a light lunch - it was very disappointing. My partner had a toasted sandwich but couldn't finish it as there was bits of bone in the chorizo. I had a steak pasty and it wasn't nice. This was the first pasty in Cornwall and so I thought that's perhaps what they were like - my... More

Attentive staff. Great coffee and lovely paninis. Did not wait very long even though it was busy. There is inside seating too for less. Sunny days.

We were in Penzance for the day and I didn't think I'd find anywhere that did a savoury gluten free snack. However, on popping into Drecklys to ask, the lovely staff did me a wonderful gluten free ham salad roll with mustard. It was delicious! One of the ladies told me that they were thinking of getting gluten free pasties... More

Drecklys is great for a pasty, panini, jacket potato and a cold drink, and the food was nicely prepared and good value. But... what a shocking place to sit on the pavement and eat lunch! Ongoing roadworks meant that traffic crawled by, and the fumes were hideous. Also, the public loos next to the harbour car park were disgusting beyond... More

Very nice lunch, not too expensive. Ample size portions and nice cappuccino. Service good and staff friendly.

What this place lacks in location- by the main through road, makes up for with great coffee, and you can watch people come and go and which is always entertaining. Cake was good, tea cake was freshly toasted and the staff were attentive and efficient.

My daughter and I were wandering around Penzance and fancied a Cornish cream tea and came across Drecklys along the wharfe, just a few minutes walk from the station and bus station. The staff were very friendly and offered us a choice of scones and said they would bring it out to us as we wanted to sit outside and... More
