We stayed for tea and a bun which wasn't expensive or posh but hit the spot at the time. Friendly staff.

Came here as wanted to have a pasty from a small business instead of a chain and we were blown away by how amazing they tasted! Friendly staff too made us want to go back for more!!

Excellent bakery with cheerful atmosphere due to the staff. Great breads on offer, pastries, cakes ...but the pasties are truly amazing. No soggy bottoms here!! The pastry is light and flaky, the fillings flavoursome with no cheap cuts of meat. Yum!

The best pasties in town! The food is tasty and fresh. The staff are always friendly and helpful. Love this bakery! My only problem with Rowes is, they don't sell caramel doughnuts! I have to go to another bakery for them! ;)

We tried other pasty shops in Penzance, but loved Rowe's (the one in the town square next to Domino's pizza). The staff were very friendly and courteous and the pasties we ordered were delicious. We had the chicken with white wine and sausage rolls. We also ended up coming back later in the day for more pasties and some desert... More

You can tell that this company is run well. The shop was clean and well laid out. The staff well presented and friendly. The food awesome. I had the prawn baguette and it was so fresh and filled with tasty prawns. My wife had a small pasty and it was also tasty and hot. Defo one of the better bakeries.

I agree with the previous reviewer. I have been visiting Rowe's bakery shops in Cornwall since 1995. For many years Rowe's were well known for their consistently good Cornish pasties and I used to love them and would excitedly look forward to the next one. The secret or winninjg formula was that they were always baked to perfection - with... More

Before there was a Rowe,s pasty shop in Penzance, I used to travel to Helston to buy their excellent pasties. Eventually a Rowe,s shop opened in Penzance which was very exciting. The pasties were very good most of the time for the first few years. In the last couple of years, I have found their pasties very disappointing. The pasties... More

Rowe's was recommended to us by our host as the best place in Penzance for Cornish pasties. After we tried a few other local sellers, we totally agree with her assessment of these being the best in town. We found the pastry was flaky, light and not too thick, especially around the edges and the filling, in the chicken ones,... More
