A welcoming independent local off the main drag in Newquay. Plenty of room in a comfortable pub atmosphere, family friendly, popular with locals. Menu is pretty much standard pub fare, but a good range and food portions are generous. Often eat there with large numbers of family and friends and there's never any complaints about the food or the service.... More

Pleasant pub with nice food, varied menu, reasonably-priced and keen staff. Had a few drinks and a few meals here. Not too crowded, should be able to find a quiet corner. The clientele seemed to be a friendly bunch. Behind the main drag but worth a visit.

Great family pub with a very high standard of food, service and cleanliness. The owner should be proud of her pub and her staff.

Choice of Roast beef, Turkey or Lamb very generous portions of meat carved and served by the chef, you help yourself to roast potatoes, variety of veg and gravy, as much as you could eat. Cost £9.25 per adult £6.50 child. They also had quite a big choice of other dishes if you wished to... More

We booked a table for six people for an early evening Carvery. If you enjoy a tasty meal, then I recommend this place. Everything not only looks so good, but tastes lovely and fresh too. I think this is the best Carvery in town and is value for money as well.
