First visit thought we,d try it for Hubby's birthday. Quick walk from newquay centre. Arrived early..food not served until six on a Monday. As the chef came in early we were asked if we wanted to order early..which we did..nice touch. Homemade fishcakes were delicious..lamb shank so tender it fell off the bone. Great service..owner very friendly and place spotlessly... More

Excellent for Sunday Roast even if the decor is a bit like being at your granny's. Good choice of roast and plenty of meat plus brilliant variety of freshly cooked vegetables with crispy roast potatoes and Yorkshire puds too. Really recommend this if a roast is your hearts desire.

Came here without booking on Sunday evening for the 6pm carvery. It was quite busy. We were seated in the are near the bar rather than the main restaurant which is a bit 70's and as such makes it a 3* for me. I though we had left that era behind ;) Food was pretty good on the whole, meat... More

We have eaten here lots of time as we are locals, never had a problem, this time the Sunday carvary was just awful, we ate at the 6pm sitting, the potatoes were hard and tasteless, maybe they had been re-heated, the veg was cold. When we mentioned it to the waitress she shrugged her shoulders and walked off, such a... More

Good car park. Lovely welcome from staff. So clean could eat off the floor. Tables well spaced so not too close to other diners. Lovely chap behind the counter carving meat. Beef lamb and turkey. Well cooked, good selection of veg. Would recommend.

Where do I start...The pink chicken, the forgotten food or the worst service we've ever experienced. Not an exaggeration by any means... It looked like the staff had lost the will to live and when we said they'd forgotten an entire meal they said that pulled pork takes longer than other meals so could we please wait for 2 mins....
