We were staying in the hotel attached so thought we'd pop down for breakfast. We ordered 2 of the fried breakfasts and a drink each which came to nearly £25 ! Very expensive for a breakfast, next time I think we'll pop to the local wetherspoon where the food is just as good but half the price.

Last year we stayed at and eat here and yes this week we revisited the restaurant for a meal. I had the chicken ballentine and my partner had the scampi, well the food was still at the same high standard as it was when we visited last year. The staff were clean tidy and polite as nothing seem to be... More

Lovely pub grub. We ordered fish & chips and a cheeseburger both of which came with chips. The portion sizes were generous. We also got to witness a wonderful sunset from the terrace/window area facing the sea.

We had the Steam Burger and "Canneloni", which just was Lasagne which has never seen salt or any spice in its life. The burger was quite good, but just too expensive (£13). The so called lasagne found its way back to the kitchen and the woman at the bar instantly offered to give me my money back. The staff generally... More

Visited Steam Bar yesterday. Young blonde barmaid very rude and dismissive, spilling my beer without offering a top-up. Had to ask. Thankfully, Jenny your new (ish) team member saved the day with excellent customer service and a friendly, professional manner. A complete credit to the Best Western brand and to herself. Thank you Jenny ☺️
