Stopped in for a drink but decided to haven inner on way back from day at beach. Relaxed atmosphere but the food was lovely! Garlic bread all cooked from scratch, and the curry was lovely. Really filling and prices were in par with local places ( mains averaging on £10). Lovely evening and greta staff/.

First evening of our hols. Pub local and looked nice. Quite busy inside. Got served by a barman 'robot', no smile, no hello. I ordered steak pie and chips (about £10), and that's exactly what arrived, no garnish or even some frozen peas! The waitress was a bit annoying as she presented our somewhat mediocre meals with a 'enjoy your... More

Goes a bit like this: * we come in the door and get 'the stare' from the bar staff; the look you'd expect if you'd turned up to a wedding in scuba gear * sat down at the table to have a look at the menu; first mistake. All the chairs are different, daughters has a metal back that seems... More

Avoid like the plague no people skills need reporting for appalling service and even worse food. Overpriced drinks watered down drinks . Don't bother use the Treguth inn a much nicer place and much better staff who treat all their customers equally tourist or locals alike

We have used this pub for many years on our holidays at Holywell but sad to say it has deteriorated to a point where we will be giving it a miss and using the nearby Treguth pub. The Perrins toilets have barely a trickle of cold water from the taps in the toilets and no sign of soap. Very poor... More

We have eaten at St Pirans 3 times in the past fortnight and we can't fault it. The food is always freshly prepared and well cooked. The menu size is just right and the daily fresh fish specials have been great every time we've tried them. The location just off the beach is fantastic and the staff have always been... More

We visited the St Pirans twice after staying in the neighbouring campsite for 2 weeks. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, making the whole family feel at ease (including 3 who are over 80!) Lovely pub grub with a fantastic couple of specials as well. Great family atmosphere less than 5 minutes from the beach.

Evening meal. Great choice, food delicious, atmosphere great. You would thing that in 3 years you'd see a difference, but no! It's still enjoyable as before. Really enjoyed eating there. And yes, if we come back here it's definitely on our TO DO list

We visited St Pirans on a rainy afternoon for a family meal out, the menu wasn't huge but there was something for everyone. The specials board extended the menu further. When the food arrived it was all fresh and well presented, and the portions were hearty. So pleased we pulled in!
