I like the Lewinnick, the view is amazing. Most of the staff members are really lovely, a couple of them stood out for not being particularly friendly though. Food was really nice, we had the mezze sharing platter, greek flatbread and some sweetpotato fries, all to share. All though we spent like £25 for lunch for two (not including drinks),... More

We ate here tonight, our food was great, couldn't fault it. The couple at the table next to ours however ordered sea bream, expected sea bass and complained when they got sea bream. The waitress dealt with it very professionally, removed the incorrect order and gave them free drinks while their replacement meal was cooked. They still weren't happy, there's... More

Terrible service - had to wait nearly an hour for food - no apology from the miserable waitress (dark haired with ponytail - overseas accent) for the meal being late. She shouldn't be working here with such a bad attitude. When it did arrived, salad was very salty - limp lettuce and tomato that had seen better days. Food and... More

Visited here with my Wife, Mother and Father In Law and our 3 month old baby daughter. Amazing place, lovely food and service and the most amazing views out to sea and Newquay. Would highly recommend a visit here, for Lunch or dinner or even a drink. They have a lovely bat area, restaurant and also a lovely outdoor decking... More

We had visited once just to view to book in as we did last night! Overall I felt the staff were lacking knowledge in what was of choice selections or recommendations as well as enthusiasm. The selections themselves were limited. I was also not impressed when the server passed across the table my starter as if it was too much... More

It's a bit odd at first. It's beautifully decorated and maintained (toilets have to be experienced!) and the food is top notch... then you notice all the digs in there! As a dog lover I heartily welcome this, but I've seen some people seriously turning their nose up at the close proximity of our four-legged friends, so be warned that... More

Lewinnick Lodge is a victim of its own success; the place is always rammed full, even during the low season. I'll be heading back there in a couple of weeks, now that the tourists have buggered off back 'up country' at the end of the season. The staff are attentive but not 'in your face' and whatever you choose from... More

Ate at the Lewinnick one evening last week and had 3 courses and a bottle of wine. I can only use one word to describe overall experience. PERFECT. Dick Clark

Description
Nestled above the cliffs of Pentire Headland, looking out across the mighty Atlantic, The Lewinnick Lodge has probably one of the best coastal views anywhere in the county. Serving modern British food with an emphasis on fresh fish, the Lodge has long been established as the premier location to enjoy fine Cornish fare and hospitality. 'The Lodge' is open for breakfast from 8am and serves food throughout the day until 10pm (10.30Pm in the summer), everyday of the year. You can choose to dine in our restaurant, bar, beer garden or on the sun terrace - wherever the mood or occasion takes you! We offer modern British and world cuisine using the best local produce. Our ethos is simple, fresh seasonal produce, prepared on the premises by a team of talented chefs. We aim to cater for all tastes on our regular menus but if you are a lover of fresh fish and seafood then our twice daily changing specials will have you coming back time and again. We now also offer 10 stunning boutique style bedrooms so you never have to leave!
