Tiny, friendly bistro type place with additional space for dog lovers in the courtyard out back. Interesting food though restricted menu. Fantastic window onto Mousehole harbour with friendly service and fab cakes to take away.

after a bit of a rocky start - our booking hadn't made it to the table plan, we were offered a table in the lovely garden. very pleasant setting. Starters, chilli squid and prawns were superb. For main course we had the daily special: scallops - were a bit in the dinky size and the chef was generous and accepted... More

Went for lunch twice, (it was so good the first time we jus had to repeat). Excellent food, service, and very well balanced prices. Spot on.

We'd been given good reports of this restaurant, but had been told it was "a little more expensive" than the Ship Inn (just around the corner, where we'd dined the previous night). As titled, overpriced - £53 for two main courses and two drinks. My husband chose steak, with optional prawns for an additional £5. The prawns didn't arrive until... More

This was my second visit this year to 2 Fore Street and I was not disappointed. The food is so fresh and the menu has lots of delicious options. The restaurant itself is very well presented and the service is excellent. Will return without a doubt.

We popped into Mousehole for a quick visit when the weather wasn't quite so great. We dropped in to 2 Fore Street for lunch and we were delighted with the service, the food and the ambience. We'll definitely be back if we have the chance.

Booked dinner in advance and was given table near to the window as requested. We therefore had a lovely view of Mousehole Harbour. We shared a squid starter with some bread and olives - all delicious and beautifully presented. I then had roast duck and my friend had the lemon sole. Really lovely. Sadly no space for a dessert but... More

Based on my experience. We went there after I was looking on Trip Advisor. A family-run bistro with contemporary décor and food. Lovely ambience. Service was absolutely fantastic Homemade soup done it for me. I recommend you book as there are not that many seats inside but there are seating out side weather permitting. Food 10/10 Service 10/10 For lunch... More
