You’d never eat a pasty again if this was your first experience! We rarely have them as it’s not our staple diet so this is a treat. Ridiculously bland except for over the top pepper to try and disguise the minuscule amount of meat I’ve...ever seen in a ‘traditional’ Cornish pasty. I feel that this place by far let’s the true Cornish down. I dread to think what delights I’d find in ‘The Miners’ version. There was so much potato it could cause a potato famine and the teeny amount of carrot I found couldn’t keep the tiniest creature alive. Never ever would we buy from there again. After speaking to locals who confirmed what we’d found. They don’t shop there. Huge disappointment. On the plus, they offer vegetarian options. They’re not telling fibs! Rip off doesn’t come close. It was the ONLY bakery with stacks of pasties, every other were sold out completely, hence our desperation. Oh and one of the young members of staff thought it was appropriate to mumble a sarcastic remark when a fellow customer politely asked for a drink of coffee. How on earth they’re still in business I don’t know. Who are these people who rave about this produce?!More

Visited for a lunchtime pasty, great VFM, pasties very tasty and full of filling. Very competitive priced compared to others in immediate area. Staff very friendly and welcoming.

Visited in half term, overall appearance of cafe poor. Broken plastic chairs, dirty floor, cold coffee. Staff questioning was what ordered, surely the choice is that of the customer. If it wasn’t that kids were thirsty would not have stayed. Was shocked at prices when bill...arrived ( I know things have gone up) totally overpriced for the stale cakes we had. Would not recommend or visit again. Went to a pub down the road for lunch and drinks bill for that was only £ 7.00 more than cakes & coffee.More

We live in Cornwall and have plenty of experience of eating pasties. There was virtually no meat in the ones we ate here. My chair was also broken and I could have toppled backwards. I have noticed that some pasty makers are cutting back on...the amount of meat as well as putting their prices up. My best advice is to do more quality control. The flavouring was fine and the pastry goodMore

Today i went martin, i had me pasty to take away. ye see, i got me pasty and it was cold, so i asked for it to be warmed up which seemed to be a problem for the worker. I got it back still cold...but i just accepted it, i bit into me pasty and it was lovely, a nice taste to it despite my old taste buds. Furthermore, the tables were very sticky due to the sanitation on them, very uncomfterble. The price of said pastys is mental, to be honest, im on me pension and i cant afford to spend £4.30 each day. Occasionally, martins dairy is a nice place to eat, however on the most part its rushed, tacky, gross, and not very thoughtful, let alone the price of it. Personally would not recommendMore

What an amazing place. Popped in with our granddaughter. Made to feel so welcome. The pasty was amazing, the coffee as good as it gets, the doughnut was demolished by my granddaughter, and the custard slice was probably the best I've had and there's been...plenty!! The service was superb too. I'd give 6 stars if I could.More

Freezing cold, rock hard and tasted awful. I live in Cornwall and have eaten many a pasty and can honestly say this was the worst I've ever eaten. Don't be fooled by the way they look.

On holiday in Cornwall so a pasty was a priority for me and my friend on our first day. This was one of the best I have had in Cornwall in several years of coming to Cornwall. I had the large pasty which was full...of well seasoned meat and vegetables. My friend was of the same opinion. Highly recommended.More

Was in Looe for the week and luckily found this place on our first day and was in everyday thereafter. The best fresh bakery. The scones, fruit or plain, are huge and gorgeous and only 70p. Being Cornwall we had a few of their Cornish...pasties, they do various sizes and other than the traditional ones I took a liking to their cheese and marmite ones, absolutely delicious and ideal to eat on the beach. All the staff were friendly and helpful.More

As a widely travelled person I visited Looe today where I was fortunate enough to have the best sausage rolls and plain scones I have ever had from Martin's Dairy in Looe. The quality and quantity are just wonderful - it's just a real shame...there wasn't a Martin's Dairy where I live. Thank you for making Looe so extra memorableMore
