Gorgeous fish and chips

We called into The Coddy Shack today for lunch , could not fault it we had Fish and Chips they were the best we have tasted in a long time , sooo fresh and very good value for money 😁

A right catch!

Staff very friendly and helpful and very friendly the mussels for starters were so fresh the best I have tasted in a long while the cod was so fresh and lovely cooked with a light crisp batter the chips were fresh and fluffy inside with...s slightly crisp outside there was no grease at all on the plates.More

Family meal

First time here..not the last!

Excellent food and very friendly staff. Squid, prawn and deep-fried Brie starters excellent. Lots of fishy main courses..we had some of the best fish and chips! There is plenty of stuff for non-fish lovers too. Drinks choice was good: well kept beers, nice Shiraz and...a wide selection of gins were sampled. We’ll definitely be returning.More

Coddy tastic

Relaxed service for a family occasion.

A party of six of us including two children had booked to celebrate a significant birthday and we really enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and the courteous attention of the waitresses. The food was excellent and piping hot and thoroughly enjoyed by all of us. Four...of the party live in France and were impressed with this local cuisine. Thank you and we will have no hesitation in returning.More

Great seafood restaurant.

Great experience. Booked a table of 4 for a Thursday evening, our last meal before going home. Was fairly busy, but seated straight away. Food was amazing, the staff were welcoming and helpful. Had a small issue with one of the meals, but was quickly...rectified to our satisfaction, with no hassle. Pricing was very reasonable and portions were perfect. We will definitely be visiting again, next time we are back in Looe. Many thanks 👍More

Best fish and chips EVER

Our 3rd visit to the Coddy Shack on our yearly trip to Looe and we were not disappointed. The best fish and chips we have tasted, and the Garlic pil pil prawn and amazing. We will be back next year for sure. Thanks guys.

Fabulous fish !

Booked a table for 4 and glad we did , as it was busy for a Monday night. Service and food was fabulous , Cod cooked to perfection. Waitress worked very hard and was very friendly. We had s great meal and drinks and would...definitely recommend going there.More

Nice fish and chips

Visited based on reviews. Clearly popular, so suggest booking if you want to eat in. We had battered cod, as well as pan seared cod, both very nice. Only slight negative is that it was a very windy day when we visited and our table...was by the door, so cold draft each time it opened. They also do takeaway.More
