We dined in at La Bocca, we ordered pasta which was good and tasty and the portion was just enough we finished with the tiramisu was delicious!
Visited on a Saturday with my wife daughter for sit in dinner (they also do takeaway), none of us were disappointed. Restaurant is situated just off the sea front, it is modern inside with spacious seating, we arrived at 17:00 and left at 18:45 by...which time it was filling up. Great choice of starters/pizza/pasta/desserts at very reasonable prices (average £9-10 for a main). We had prawns & bruschetta to start, inferno, Etna & kids margherita pizzas for mains and sweet dough sticks for dessert. All tasted incredibly nice, all freshly made to order. Staff were very friendly chatting to us about our stay and couldn't do enough for us. Would definitely recommended a visit!More
Absolutely great pizza restaurant Great tasting fresh wood fired pizza Friendly helpful staff great food Reasonably priced lovely starters as well as the pizzas Can’t wait to return
La Bocca is normally a safe option as it's fairly large and often has tables available when other places in town are full. The service is good, the pizzas are really nice, and if you get a seat by the window you'll be able to...watch passers-by play ball with Ash, the dog who lives across the road.More
Me and my partner went here for a dinner on the first night of our holiday and the experience was just sublime. Sharing a Misto Carne Pizza with wonderfully stringy Mozzarella, wonderfully cooked to perfection and beautifully spicy beef and chorizo really complimenting the ham...and chicken. Alongside some absolutely delectable halloumi fries with an absolutely deliciously spicy chorizo jam (I couldn't resist double dipping) and so wonderfully cooked sweet potato fries, the rosemary salt just giving an extra kick of sweetness needed! All washed down with some beautifully medium sweet Rattler Cider just made for a beautiful meal to end the day. The desserts were glorious aswell, I had an absolutely gorgeously fresh Limon Tiramisu (so wonderfully devised and baked by one of the attentive and kind staff) was just a wonderfully light and refreshing end to a wonderful meal. However if you've got more of a sweet tooth my partners Forest Fruit Sundae might be just the thing for you, a medley of tart and mild sweet flavours of strawberry and vanilla gelato with white chocolate buttons throughout is a sweet tooths dream!More
Fabulous food! so delicious, good quality, friendly and very helpful staff. Was really impressed. Lots of choices on the menus and had vegetarian and vegan dishes too. Would highly recommend, well worth a visit.
Such a brilliant Italian restaurant. Huge portion sizes - we took away our leftovers for dinner. Food tasted incredible. Fantastic staff. Extremely polite, friendly and courteous. Great value for money! Vegan options too.
After discovering most restaurants in Looe were booked we ended up at La Bocca. They have a queuing system that works well and we had a table after about 15 minutes. The staff was very attentive and friendly despite being short-staffed and busy. A particular...shout-out to Joe who waited our table Spot on. The food was good fresh and arrived to the table quickly. Definitely one to try if you like pizza and simple Italian dishes.More
Hospitality industry seems to be struggling with getting staff, so there was a bit of a wait as you can't book. but the food was nice and quick once you're in
Went as a family for what was hoping was an enjoyable dinner. Unfortunately food was tasteless, pasta was very small portions and tasted of tinned tomatoes. Pizza was soggy and also had not flavour again just like they had put tinned tomatoes on pizza base...and then under cooked. To make things worse chair proceeded to collapse underneath my husband there was no rush to his aid or apology just a of I’ll get another chair. Won’t b returning.More
Had another fantastic meal here! The food, service and how they looked after us was the best. The tiramisu was the best I have had in a long time. We will be back! Thank you.
A local couple usually avoiding the summer rush. My wife at 4pm suggested a takeaway pizza. Went online - ordered for 6pm - on arrival no queue & pizzas were ready boxed under a hot lamp. Gentle 10 minute stroll home - still hot &...we both absolutely enjoyed two very differently topped pizzas. Our only regret? Shouldn’t have waited until now to try their freshly oven cooked pizzas. Somehow I think this could find its way into a regular routine. Thanks Guys!More
Food and service was excellent. We had to wait for a table for three of us as it was a busy evening but the wait was definitely worth it. The waiting staff were so busy making sure tables were served and cleared ready for the...next customer. We had starters, mains and deserts. All were delicious. Compliments to the chefs, the Rigatoni Bosco Al Forno (chestnut mushrooms and pasta In a creamy, brandy and garlic sauce) was amazing! Best pasta I’ve had for a long time. Definitely will return. Great food and friendly staff!More
This pizza is amazing! Best we have had outside Italy. Restaurant very busy and we had to wait for a seat but it was worth it. Staff very friendly and service excellent.
