Amazing food served by husband and wife team. Fantastic service, owner took time to to explain dishes to us and had a friendly chit chat. Thank you!
Absolute quality, we didn’t have a reservation but thankfully they fitted us in, on a busy Friday evening, nothing to much trouble explaining the menu just perfect, thank you ❤️
Really great Thai restaurant that gives you exactly what they say “proper spicy Thai food if that’s what you ask for” All four main courses were what we asked for “Thai spicy”, the Thai red wine was excellent and the owner and daughter were charming...and prepared to chat when they had time. Will visit againMore
Very unassuming place but food really good. Mixed starters were fab, then we had a selection of mains which were all super tasty. Good balance of flavours. The portions are really well sized. No leftovers but we all felt full at the end. Great service....What’s not to like.More
Nice tucked away small restaurant. Came here as they have a separate vegan menu, few places in Looe come close to this. Service was fine and food was good. But my vegan dish had egg in it, a fair bit too. They initially denied this...saying it was turnip... but then later accepted was egg. Menu and themselves stated it's a small kitchen , hard to avoid mistakes etc and tbf I get that. Eating egg as a vegan wont kill me though harms me and was a tad ill. How it is. But - If you have a direct food intolerance though best to double check and by the restaurants own admittance this otherwise fine place may not be for you.More
Sadly, this restaurant promised a lot and delivered very little. As a lover of Thai food, and a vegan, I was excited to visit as I heard they had a separate vegan menu. Well, what a let down that was. On arrival, the owner tried...to sit us at a draughty table in the window, near the door, obviously to make the restaurant seem busier but as it was almost empty, and the weather was cold and rainy, I requested a table which wasn't literally in the doorway. Not a great start. The passive-aggressive wording on the menu along the lines of "if you're bothered about cross-contamination, with vegan and non-vegan food fried together, we can't help you" was the next red-flag. Onto the food... Well it was greasy, tasteless and mushy. We had a pad Thai, a vegan green curry, a stir fry, tempura vegetables and spring rolls. All of it looked awful, and tasted worse, and all of it was also hugely overpriced. The green curry looked like thin, grey dishwater and the stir-fry consisted of the ends of a cabbage they clearly couldn't use elsewhere. I have no idea where their good reviews come from, but this is definitely one to avoid, particularly if you expect vegan to mean vegan and you want food which is edible.More
Went in off the street and found a delight of a Thai experience. Great service and genuine Thai menu using lots of local ingredients. Great find and thoroughly recommended.
Nice decor and atmosphere inside. Welcoming and informative staff - when they say “medium” is the same as most Thai restaurants’ “hot” they mean it. Mixed starter was great with a good selection of different flavours. All food was delicious and very well presented. Might...be nice if they had a selection of different wines, but the Thai white they had was very good.More
Very underwhelming. Greasy tasteless food. Unclean establishment. As a big fan of thai food this was probably the worse example. Not cheap either. Further more they told us no children.. but sitting at the table besides us were a family of thai and English people...who had brought 2 children with them.. didn’t say anything as there wouldn’t have been much point. I would t recommendMore
Took a chance on this place when trying to find somewhere to eat on a Friday night in Looe. Service was excellent, and the food was great. I had the chicken pad Thai and was not disappointed. A quirky place but worth a visit.
Probably the worst Thai food ever had. Tempura vegetables had batter which was heavy and the spring rolls tiny and full of mashed up something unidentifiable. Moving on to the mains. Green curry in a very thin tasteless sauce. The vegetables seemed past their best....Stir fry consisted of mostly cabbage which once again had seen better days. Pad Thai average at best. All in all the food was very poor and at £72 for two a complete rip off. The lady waiting on tables was very pleasant which was the only redeeming feature of the place.More
Went tonight 22nd Feb with friends we met in Croatia, food was excellent, also friendly environment. What tipped night of was when the owner/chef came out she was so bubbly and chatty to us made the night special, Two of us live in Cheshire and...will definitely return when back in CornwallMore
Consistently nice dining experienced due to the very wide choice of dishes that are expertly cooked. We always enjoy the ambience of this small characterful restaurant and the lovely team whom run it. Our first visit of 2023 and certainly not our last. We enjoyed...the prawn tempura and fish dishes.More
Visited between Christmas and New Year. I had the Pat Goong Pongalee and it was amazingly good, definitely ordering that again next time we come. Fresh food. Clean and well run. Attentive friendly service. Love the family photos on the wall.
