This is a restaurant with a chef with genuine talent. If it a simple dish like his beer battered fish and chips or his more sophisticated pan fried monkfish the cooking is of the highest order and in the case of my companion's monkfish his understanding of the balance of spices was excellent. I will definitely be eating again there... More

Lovely location, super ambience, friendly, attentive and knowledgeable service to enjoy delicious food (lots of fish and seafood as you'd hope) and a good range of wines. We loved it and are going back to sample more of the menu. A different experience but in many ways as good (possibly better) than it's namesake in Bray, Berkshire.

In a delightful location on stone pier where ferry leaves for Falmouth. Can park on pier if spaces but can be hard to find if town very busy. Very friendly but understaffed that night (serving) but they made a good best effort and the food was worth waiting for. On warm days/evenings you can also sit outside with a great... More

This unassuming waterside restaurant in the attractive village of Flushing is well worth a visit. The young and attentive staff are superb. The food much better than expected and well priced. Limited wines but what is available is good. If the weather is good you can sit outside and watch the huge number of yachts moored nearby. A hidden gem... More

Great restaurant in the quiet village of Flushing. There is a really nice relaxed ambience, staff are so friendly and food is lovely, nice fresh fish dishes and plenty of other choices. Food is very reasonably priced. It is a little hidden gem, would recommend booking for dinner as they get busy. You can take your dog into the restaurant... More

We ate at the Waterside twice during our 2-week stay in Cornwall - once as a couple, once with friends. Amazing fresh seafood! Huge, tender mussels; large, fresh, tender scallops; great paella...and a reasonable selection of house wines in addition to a great wine list. Customer service was outstanding. If we get back to Cornwall, we will definitely be back!

Popped in to take a look as the restaurant was just about to re open for the season. Very friendly chef who showed us around and confirmed what he was preparing for the evening menu. Great food and stunning location, very rustic and well worth a visit.

We have visited this restaurant for the first time today and it was well worth the journey. Very warm welcome from the owner and all the staff and the meal was excellent. Lovely choice on the menu including Paella, and everything was served hot and in good time. The restaurant has lovely views across to Falmouth and can also be... More
