I barely noticed this place on the high street until I went with a few friends on National Cream Tea Day to celebrate with a traditional Cornish cream tea! It's tucked upstairs in a beautifully vintage-styled building that almost feels like stepping back into Victorian times. It was a quiet day and the service was very friendly and relaxed, our... I love this quaint little beautiful tea room! I love the fact tea or cocktails get served in a teacup and teapot! Pleased beautiful classical piano music gorgeous setting lovely service and a Beautiful labrador dog which loves company and fuss. Every guest and friends visiting Cornwall I take two Dollys because the experience is not replicated anywhere else.

Why is this place not in the top 10?? I cannot believe it!! Its an absolutely wonderful experience. The place itself is beautiful with funky, mis-matching crocks and vintage glassware , wine served in jugs and cocktails served in tea pots! - Brilliant! We had Tapas, which we were new to. It was absolutely delicious The food was really well... More

We accidentally happened upon Dolly’s wandering around Falmouth. Its advertised as a Gin Palace but we were there in the afternoon where they serve a range of toasted sandwiches (Croque-esque), home made cakes, and afternoon teas. We ordered a couple of the Croque-esque sandwiches, as well as some drinks (including a rather impressive ice cream float!). The sandwiches were the... More

We were warmly welcomed by the staff when we were still on the stairs. (It's on 1st floor.) We visted for late lunch/snack and ordered a Croque Fun Girl and a High Tea. The sandwich was really good, and the scone was served with Rodda's clotted cream. It it a lovely tea room and the staff was super friendly. She... More

Loved the relaxed atmosphere when out for an evening with girl friends. First time I 've been there. As we were a big group we had the place ourselves. The food was tapas style and tasty. I love tea so was delighted to see the various teapots and China cups ( mainly containing gin )! I would like to go... More

On a short visit to Falmouth I went to this cafe for morning coffee. They serve Illy which is my favourite coffee. I accompanied this by a slice of Lemon Polenta cake, food of the angels I'm quite sure. The whole ambience of this cafe is delightful, enhanced by discreet old time music. The sad Labrador who watches you eat,... More

Dolly’s is a tea room and wine bar in the centre of Falmouth which opened in July 2011 in one of the most beautiful rooms in town. During the day it is a traditional tea room serving illy coffee, teapigs, cream teas and cakes. It then transforms in the evening to a candlelit wine bar serving delicious tapas, wine by the glass, jug and bottle. Cocktails are served in teapots and poured into vintage teacups with ice cubes in sugar bowls. Furnished with chapel chairs and reclaimed tables it has a very relaxed and peaceful atmosphere. It is also dog friendly and Hebe, Dolly’s yellow Labrador, is a permanent fixture.
