We stopped into Dolly's specifically for the cream tea, and were happy with what we got. The service was very friendly, we were served by three different ladies including Dolly herself as well as one lady who had come out from the kitchen to lend...More

This is a quirky place where gin may be served in tea cups. The decor is old fashioned tea house which looks down on the Main Street of Falmouth. Delightful and attentive staff. Enjoy

Tried their gin selection after being a little daunted by the scope of the gin menu. Each came with a different garnish and was beautifully presented. Decor was fun and interesting. Only downside was that the service could have been more friendly- the bar is...More

Thought we'd try Dolly's after seeing a recommendation in our guest book and we were not disappointed! The service was warm, friendly & attentive with good knowledge of the vast array of gins available. Between us we tried a couple of different gins each and...More

Popped in for a drink. The place was empty, cold, unwelcoming and had 2 dogs sniffing around. Please note....not everyone is a dog lover! On a few days break to the West Country but won't be coming back to this establishment.

A fabulous and quirky gin palace!! A suprise birthday party followed by a long overdue visit to the wheelhouse made this a really great night. Great to serve the gin in teapots. Love it!

Came here for a drink based on the reviews and the extensive gin menu however it left me a bit cold. Could have been when we came but the atmosphere was lacking; quiet and a bit sterile. No proper welcome either. The gin choice was...More

The mizzly rain helped us find this unique place, a very welcoming doorway greeted by a labrador and spaniel puppy at the top of the stairs! Shown to a window table where we chose toasties and smoked salmon sandwiches- yummy. We returned the same evening...More

Popped in here for a gin as they specialise in a large variety of gin. Atmosphere was dead and the staff seemed unwilling and unfriendly. Their mathematics leaves a lot to be desired so ensure you check your change and question anything your unsure of....More

Description
Dolly’s is a tea room and wine bar in the centre of Falmouth which opened in July 2011 in one of the most beautiful rooms in town. During the day it is a traditional tea room serving illy coffee, teapigs, cream teas and cakes. It then transforms in the evening to a candlelit wine bar serving delicious tapas, wine by the glass, jug and bottle. Cocktails are served in teapots and poured into vintage teacups with ice cubes in sugar bowls. Furnished with chapel chairs and reclaimed tables it has a very relaxed and peaceful atmosphere. It is also dog friendly and Hebe, Dolly’s yellow Labrador, is a permanent fixture.
