Restaurants with gorgeous views often disappoint when it comes to the food, so when we went for our first Sunday roast, we weren't expecting to be blown out of the water. How wrong we were! We've been back several times now for what we consider to be the BEST Sunday roast in Cornwall! The pork is just perfect. Great portions,... More

As usual the landlord was a terrific host and I wish I could have visited more often. Really good menu and great food backed up by good service and excellent beer. I can heartily recommend a pint of bob and the views are amazing

A couple of visits during a short stay in Falmouth - this was the best pub we found. Great views and friendly atmosphere, with a good choice of beers. Four of us eat there one evening - three thought it was good, but our vegetarian was less than impressed by the small size of the portion for a main course.

Worth the trip just for the view and large selection of beers. We did not eat here but the menu looked good.

We have been coming to the Boathouse now for many years, we used to love it and think the food was fantastic, great portions and good quality, but the last two visits have been very poor. Last night the "famous steak burger" was dry and tasteless, the curry was terrible and the falafel burger was dry and too spicy, plus... More

This is a popular pub and we were pleased we booked the day before because it was full by 1.30. The view is fabulous but only achieved by going up stairs so if you have mobility issues this is not the pub for you. We had bellied pork and roast beef. Both were delicious with a massive Yorkshire and tasty... More

Hadn't booked they were busy, but fitted us in. It is a pub with excelent food. Had 4 local real ales including a very nice Falmouth brewery beer. Great service, cannot rate this gighly enough. Will visit again.

Coming off the ferry from St Mawes it is tempting to follow the crowds round to the left, along the main drag and into the hustle and bustle, along with multiple eateries. Hold it right there! Turning right instead and walking up the hill will not only take you past interesting idiosyncratic shops, provide you with some aerobic exercise, it... More

We had a lovely dinner here with some very professionally prepared food, the crispy calamari with sweet chilli sauce I had was fantastic and I would defiantly have that again. My wife and son had the delicious beef burgers, definitely the best around and I had the shoulder of lamb which was very tender and tasty. I finished off with... More
