Had dinner here this year and last year. It's got a good atmosphere, and is welcoming to both locals and tourists. The view across to Flushing is great, and the menu changes every day according to what fresh fish (and other) ingredients are available. Good beer and cider, and friendly staff. Would very much recommend this pub.

So having caught the ferry from St Mawes and armed with The Good Beer Guide 2016 in our mitts The Boathouse was our first port of call. The description sounded very inviting with the pub designed like the decks of a ship on split levels and with portholes overlooking wonderful views of the harbour. We were met outside by a... More

5 people, some with individual requests, all catered for with exceptional card. Wonderful scallops, and great trout and fish for the main course. Service was also outstanding. The price - exceptional value!

The Sunday roast is a must while visiting Falmouth! The food was cooked really well and full of flavour, it was a real joy to eat. The portions were of a good size and we certainly didn't need a dessert! The atmosphere was really relaxing and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Pre booked here for Sunday lunch with family as we were down moving our son from halls to new house. Very scenic view from the tiny restaurant area . We already knew that roasts only served on Sunday's and the roasts were fresh and well cooked-very tasty. Would recommend.

We had a pint of the different ones on offer, most nights during our stay in Falmouth in late May.The choice of beers was very good and ciders also were of a good choice. Lovely views of the water and Flushing village over the river. Nice relaxed atmosphere.

Not great - went for lunch but no food was available so we just had a drink. Paperwork was all over the tables this Sunday lunchtime, unfriendly and unhelpful service.

Hi, Same review written and removed last year, how original!! Even more odd that you managed, according to your current reviews to have Sunday lunch in London, then attempt a second all the way down here, time travel withstanding, good effort, for those of a more rational mind, our reviews speak for themselves, please book to avoid fabrication or the need to resort to fantasy food.
