Steak was mainly a large lump of inedible gristle. Staff member politely apologised and re-funded. Rest of food was barely average. However, the Doom Bar real ale was sublime. Several dishes were not available and the staff appeared stressed albeit cheerful, helpful and friendly. I rather liked this pleasantly tired, tatty and basic quayside pub. Simple but better quality and... More

As one of the cheapest restaurants by far the food is still good. You get what you pay for - very acceptable food at low prices and cheap drinks. I can't fault it for that. And if you want a great view of the river or to see Falmouth's fireworks it's ideally located.

Evening meal and a drink. Good rump steak nicely cooked just as requested and a choice of additions. For the price this was good value. Wide range of beers, lagers, ciders and ales. Maybe a bit slow in service but the staff were pleasent and seemed too few to cover demand, typical of GREENE KING.

Four sub standard Sunday roast dinners ordered, almost an hour for food to come out. Frozen undercooked potatoes, hardly any vegetables, minimal gravy, undercooked Yorkshire pudding and overcooked stuffing ball. Four ready meals would have been better.

Visited here over the easter bank holiday weekend. First thing to pick up on was the fact it was pretty empty for a sunny easter weekend. We sat in the bottom bar and ordered 2 sandwiches. These took over half an hour to arrive.. where we sat we had a view of the kitchen, which wasn't busy and had not... More

Went in to watch the football. Bar staff fine, as was my Guinness but the mistake I made was to order food. A spicy chicken burger was so tough as to be impossible to cut, the sauce was revolting and the chips were the worst ever. On top of that my team lost Would never return

I enjoyed going to the Quayside in the past, a bright clean environment with beer at a good price and good budget food at a good price. Service was always reliable and friendly. Today 5th April we visited and what hasn't changed is the bright environment and the great view. The place at lunchtime was not heaving but there were... More
