The menu sounds simple, very traditional African dishes but they're all done with flair. Like the place itself (3rd visit) it's all full of flavour and imagination. We go for a relaxed but romantic meal. Portions are substantial so not if you're planning to go dancing after (this is falmouth...) so just settle in and go with the recommendations. Enjoy!

We managed to get the last not booked table on the night of the red arrows. Falmouth was packed. The flavours were wonderful and every dish that passed us looked just as good. Thoroughly recommended

What a perfect ending to Saturday night Each course get better and better... Stuck to the meat option as they say South African steak is the best, expectations were exceeded. Family run place, they were lovely, great service, with great patience. They explained the menu, and provided suggestions. Felt like we were not in the UK, great location and setting.... More

Treated my daughter to a spot of lunch and was delighted we choose Amamzi. We had the sea food platter and it was finger licking good. Service first class.

Well worth a visit. Ignore the novelty decor. It is not TGI Pretoria. But a great little restaurant offering fresh fish meat and salads with a South African BBQ kick. All are well prepared, cooked correctly & come with superb double cooked chips. Child friendly. Good range of soft and hard cocktails. Highly recommended.

This restaurant was actually our third choice of restaurants out in Falmouth one evening of our short stay in the town. We had previously tried to get into two other restaurants but seeing as it was Falmouth week and the middle of the summer holidays, they were subsequently full. And what a good choice we made! Carolyn, the owner, was... More

As per everywhere in Falmouth, a personal friendly welcome awaits you on arrival to the atmospheric Amanzi. Previous Tripadvisor reviews suggested that the African curry should be sampled. So I did and very nice it is to. Full of flavour and to be recommended on. The chocolate mud pie is not to be missed either, as is the homemade ginger... More

Atmospheric restaurant, where care has been taken to make you feel you have moved continents as you walk through the door. The pace is relaxed, so don't expect 'fast food', waited for drinks order to be taken a little longer than normal, but this is a small family run business. Cocktails are a plenty and some liqueurs are home-made. The... More

After checking a number of places on the high street we decided to try Amanzi as it looked different, I'm so glad we did! We arrived a little late for our booking (best bet is to book!) and the rest of the restaurant was full, always a good sign... When greeted by the hostess it felt more like being welcomed... More
