Found this place on TA whilst looking for somewhere different to take my elderly mother for lunch. Wow wow wow. We shared couple of fish platters between three which luckily just left room for desserts. The food was outstanding and the service fabulous. Hope it's not too long until we can get back!

We had Sunday lunch at the Waymarker as a treat for my husbands birthday. The food was perfect, we couldn't find any fault with it. The meat was especially delicious and the vegetables cooked to perfection.

This restaurant is delightful. It is out in the country, surrounded by trees with indoor and outdoor seating. Visit it on a dry pleasant day and you could not find a more relaxing venue. The food is very good indeed, using Cornish produce and cooked to order.

We live locally to The Waymarker and have heard good things about it so went to sample the Sunday roast. I am always wary about dining out for Sunday dinner as always find homemade is better. In this case I was so pleased we'd eaten out. Each part of the meal was perfect. I went for the duo of pork... More

Came here with my parents for pre 21st birthday treat and was blown away! We had two cream teas with Prosecco as we were celebrating and it was plenty. Would recommend, and will be returning :) ps. Try the toffee and pecan scones as they are yummy!!

Our party of seven had a really great lunch here. I booked a couple of weeks in advance which is essential. Our party 4 adults, 3 kids thoroughly enjoyed our roasts , the service was good and friendly and the Bill was very reasonable. Best meal of our 3 night visit to Falmouth

We found The Waymarker quite by accident, and what a find. We enjoyed a delicious lunch of a seafood platter prepared and served by Kevin and his lovely wife. They were warm and friendly and went out of their way to make our visit memorable. We sat on a great decking area overlooking the pond. We finished off with a... More

A glorious sunny day in Cornwall, enhanced by an equally glorious Sunday lunch at the Waymarker. If your down that way, make a point of going there, you'll love it. Fantastic food, with the loveliest staff. Book in advance, I wouldn't want you to be disappointed.

Driving through the Cornish lanes, hoping for a tea break but not expecting to find anywhere, we were delighted to discover the Waymarker café restaurant. We were given a lovely welcome (as was our dog) and enjoyed tea and cake on the decking overlooking the old quarry. Apart from easy parking, there was also a small marquee with comfortable seating... A lovely quiet location with lots of parking provided. We attended as a large family party - we all enjoyed superb 3 course meals accompanied by excellent service at a reasonable price! We will definitely enjoy this again sometime soon. Thank you for making our Sunday lunch so enjoyable!
