Had a fantastic meal last year on our visit to Falmouth so reserved a table this year in advance. Had to have a Rhubarb and Ginger Gin with Prosecco to get into the mood first. For starters my husband had Falmouth Bay Scallops - thoroughly enjoyable. I chose the King Prawn Linguine - incredible. My husband then chose The Cod... More

Visited for the first time with a group of 8 friends for a birthday celebration. The food quality was excellent, but there were some service issues. We had ordered scallops to accompany our meal - these were forgotten and, when we commented on this, they were served up on a separate plate when we had nearly finished. They still still... More

I spent quite some time searching through websites and menus as we were spending the night in Falmouth and wanted a nice meal, we are usually in Falmouth at lunchtimes. Came across Samphire and as very regular visitors to France knew this was the place for us! We favoured the fixed price menu available 6-7pm, but didn't want to have... More

On holiday in Cornwall we were pleased to find this small, intimate restaurant which has pleasant staff and excellent food. We chose the set menu and although the portions weren't big, as the food was good quality and very tasty it was good value.

Samphire is a small, popular well run restaurant with a small but nevertheless excellent menu. I really would recommend booking to avoid disappointment. We had three courses (shared starter & dessert) with the fish platter main all of which were tasty and well cooked. It was probably slightly more expensive than other restaurants in Falmouth but worth it in our... More

Went into Falmouth to find somewhere to eat and found Samphire where we got lucky as they had a table. Would recommend booking as they were busy and we soon found out why. I had Hake on a lovely risotto with cockles and samphire. My wife had monkfish with black olive mash and green beans. Both dishes were gorgeous and... More

A great little restaurant offering a more refined service than many eateries in the area. Great food and plenty of it within a small menu. Dont be put off by the limited choice though as the food is well prepared and cooked, delivered with a professional but friendly waiter.

We called in at lunch time and we enjoyed our lunch which was served quickly. The staff were very pleasant. The premises was clean and welcoming. The street level dining area was limited but we found it ideal for watching the world go by.

Thank Anthony H
