This was a last minute booking made for a Sat night when Chester Races were also on so was pleased to get a table for 8pm. The table was available as soon as we arrived, our drinks order was taken immediately and staff were friendly but not in your face. I ordered plaice, my friend ordered steak. Both meals came... Met a colleague for lunch. Hard to find and parking a little tricky, but will know more next visit. Sat outside on a lovely day right by the canal. Coffee and an extremely tasty sandwich. Loved the menu variety, smoked trout and dill creme fraiche sandwich was so so good. A definite find with a really good menu. Lunch or... More

Before tonight I've only been to this place for drinks so I was extremely happy to dine here for the first time, I can honestly say that this place lived up to all my expectations. We had the swordfish and the feta filled filo pastry. Wow both of them hit the spot big time. 10 out of 10 for food.... More

After reading such great reviews I was very excited to eat here. The service was great upon arrival. I ordered the lamb and my friend the vegetarian option. The food arrived promptly. So far so good. Unfortunately the communal vegetables were gritty (I think it was in the cauliflower and leek gratin but I can't be certain). I had a... More

The service was excellent and the food was just as great. The pizzas are huge so be prepared for that. I had the strawberry ale and it was delicious
