We came here on the evening of 18 August 2016. We were having a meal with our son's future in laws. Our son also used to work here many years ago when it was under different management. I thought the menu was very good and the prices reasonable. The setting is beautiful. As the sun set and the outside lights... More

We visited The Cheshire Cat for Sunday Lunch. The dining area was very busy and there was a 20 minute wait at the bar to be seated. Having said that, the gentleman who met us at the bar was very friendly and assured us that he would find us a quiet corner which he did. We had the Sunday roast... More

Visited the Cheshire Cat for dinner with a group of seven other guys. Service was quick and the food reasonable. Portions aren't big and my rump steak, cooked rare to medium, was, I have to say, very tough. The starters, I had garlic mushrooms, were lovely but again quite small portions. One worry was they didn’t have any draught beers... More

Booked a night away for our anniversary and my birthday, well what a fantastic place to spend it, the food was top notch, the staff are wonderful and the atmosphere is amazing. If you have never visited I would recommend that you do. They really couldn't do enough for us and we have had an amazing celebration.

Great location and building, we sat out the front in the garden that overlooks the drive and the car park. The view was really nice, helped by it being a warm evening. The food was really good quality, quantities were ample and the service was good for how busy the place was, we were in a large group which wasn't... More

Not great. My husband and I decided to try the menu here as it sounded fantastic. The food was disappointing - small portions, and poor quality. Such a shame as the venue is lovely for a sunny lunch out. We won't be eating her again :(

Our booking included a continental breakfast which we weren't aware of which was a nice bonus. You also have the option to upgrade to a full English breakfast for £6.95... More
