Great pub in stunning old building close to the racecourse. Good choice of beers and whilst we didn't eat, the food looked very good.

Amazing location, nice relaxing place with no tv and no music. Choice of drinks is very good and the ale is kept very well. Food is amazing just the portions are on the large side. Must try is there own stout mustard.

A pub inside a very old house. A very good selection of real ales starting at £3.10 per pint. Staff warm and friendly. Worth a visit if you like real ale.

Visited The Brewery Tap again with 4 friends and for the first time decided to have something to eat. The Brewery Tap is my husbands favourite pub in Chester and the beer did not disappoint. We drank Spitting Feathers Thirst quencher, Roosters Wild Mule, and...More

To be honest, conventional is not really their thing. Don't let that put you off though. You can have a Sunday Roast any Sunday you want. You can't always try and enjoy the great food and beer that is served here!
