We visited Siams twice, once to the tepanyaki restaurant and once to the Thai restaurant. The tepanyaki was amazing, I had the mixed seafood tempura, which consisted of 3 king prawns, 2 squid rings, and two decent lumps of sea bass. Best tempura batter I...have tasted. Seafood was cooked amazingly. Perfect. I had the 11 piece mixed sushi, I can't believe how good it was. Absolutely stunning. Amazing. Just fantastic. The Thai restaurant is equally as good, I have been to quite a few Thai restaurants, this is definately my favorite. I haven't been to Thailand so can't comment on authenticity but it was the best I have had here. By far. Highly recommended.More
We had been here before on a previous visit to Chester so decided to go back. We asked if they had a table available and they said yes and then told us to hang on. I think they forgot about us as about 5 minutes...later someone asked us why we were stood there. We wanted to eat from the Thai menu so we were shown a table upstairs. We had to leave to pushchair down stairs as we weren’t allowed to take it up with us. There are many choices to chose from and the prices were reasonable. The food was very tasty but I found it to be very salty. The staff were friendly and the décor of the restaurant was good.More
Ate here during a one night stay in Chester with my partner. We are both huge lovers of thai food so always try and find thai restaurants on our travels and this didn't disappoint. The food was fantastic and the portions where huge. Would definitely...recommend.More
We spotted this on our walk to our hotel, and not having been to a Thai restaurant for a few years, booked straight away. The restaurant was well set out, plenty of distancing and we felt very comfortable. The menu was quite extensive and we...both really enjoyed our meals. The service was great, everyone was very friendly and we would be happy to go back.More
Found by accident as was not on google. Booked a table for lunch. It was amazing Thai green curry I have ever had.
Lots of wines on the list but no Thai wines which was a shame being the place it is.
Can’t wait to...go back.More
I have never been to Thailand so I'm no expert on the cuisine there. But my meal in this restaurant was as the title says awful. My Tom yam soup served with chicken that had been boiled and then allowed to cool before being dumped...into a tasteless broth floating with huge chunks of uncooked onion was absolutely atrocious. I cook a lot at home and have made this fantastic Thai soup before and it was simple and delicious. My wife's Thai fish cakes were another fail damp and tasteless and looking very much like cheap chicken nuggets another easy dish but crap in here. I then had a stir-fry with raw green peppers with the same wretched chicken as before that tasted of nothing no spice no lemon grass or Thai basil also the portion was measly. My wife had the massaman curry that according to the reviews in here was to die for. Maybe if you like a plate of mostly potatoes in what I can only describe as bland baby food. I have read the reviews in here and I'm bewildered as to the raves this place gets. Only good point service was slick. Maybe the Thai side of this place is different to the tepanyaki side but overall an atrocious meal. As I said tiny portions of tasteless food at a premium price over £70 for 2. Wish I had went to nearby Chinese places. There will be no next time.More

Lovely Thai meal
The Som Tam will blow your pants off it’s so spicy, and that’s what you want
Whilst a...Thai and Tappanyaki restaurant, there are two clearly different eateries on different floors so make sure you book for the correct oneMore
We have been for mini-breaks to Chester 5 times now, and every time we pay a visit to Siam Thai & Teppanyaki. The welcome, the service and the delicious food is the reason why !!
