The pub has a nice atmosphere - we went for lunch but I'm sure it is better in the evening. The service was disorganised and slow, especially as time went on and a couple of large family groups came in. After we had been eating for a while a young couple came in and asked how quickly they would be... More

Just to note, this restaurant is in the village of Bourn not Cambridge city centre. We had a great meal here last night. Our friends have been before but it was our first time. We will definitely be returning. All the food was delicious especially the venison main dishes which were cooked to perfection. My friend has coeliac disease and... More

Saturday lunch - not too busy, so surprised at slow service. Food is worth waiting for and the staff are very attentive. Menu is very good and drinks choice is good too.

Had better Sunday lunches at the Willow Tree. We had one chicken and one beef roast dinner. The gravy was very watery and no flavour and hardly any of it. The beef slices were completely raw on one side, cooked on the other which just made it very odd to eat. The roast potatoes were not particularly roasted. All piled... More

The restaurant is located in Bourn, not Cambridge as it is listed in the address. Bourn is such a charming village, definitely worth a visit by itself. Everything about the restaurant is lovely: the beautiful location (very easy to find), the cozy and fancy interior (opulent furniture, a big fire place), very caring and helpful personnel.

We can for a family meet up dinner , all I've heard is great things about this place , it was fantastic food that was delicious. I wish I can in the summer because the garden area looked awesome. The restaurant has a different decor very quirky! I gave only 4 stars because although the food is AMAZING the menu... More

We had a lovely Sunday lunch at Willow Tree. The staff were superb. The atmosphere was relaxed and buzzing at the same time. The decor is very chic and well thought out. Most importantly, the food is delicious with unusual and varied daily specials. They also do a great Sunday roast which was popular with our group. They cater well... More

We had a really enjoyable meal on a Sunday evening, one that was accompanied by live music. This good fortune was purely by chance as a band only appears once a month, usually the last Sunday of the month. Advertised as jazz it was more blues and easy listening. Along with the music the candlelight added to a convivial atmosphere.... More

Lovely meal. Pleasant and relaxed service. Great find out of the blue. Warm welcome on entry. Seated an looked after very well. Good wine list, with cocktails and various gins. Specials wheeled in on an old mirror which is rather quirky. Varied menu with lots of choice. Food presentation was excellent with good flavour and portion size. Pork belly was... More
