Excellent Sunday morning breckie - this cafe is open early and absolutely gorgeous. The coffee, ground and roasted on site is excellent.

Hot Numbers 4 Trumpington St Most chains and supermarkets seem to resisting rising wage and coffee costs by using more blends Hot Numbers, often too busy for comfort, is an exception, and offers a range of single source coffees We had two Ethiopian espressos and a cappucchino. The espressos were correct as the French say but better with same amout... More

Neither cafes have adequate ventilation yet bacon is being fried round the clock. I only need to spend 20 minutes in there to carry the reek of fried bacon with me all day long. This is unacceptable and gross.

Had a lovely stop here. My wife had peppermint tea, my friend and I affogatos. Each was lovely and nicely served with grace and good humour. Good prices too. Sitting out back in the courtyard on a gorgeous sunny day, there was much to love about life.

You can get some of the best expresso in Cambridge at this place. I love it! I have never been really interested in the food as it is expensive. I also think its a bit odd how they stuff all their vegetarian panini's into the sandwich press with non veg options.

Though it was really loud most of the time, it's one oft the best place for catching up with your mates. The few only downsides were the price (they were quite expensive) and the seating capacity.

This place is busy and full of people peering at shiny fruit themed electronic devices. Trendy, it most certainly is. However when I tried to order 3 coffees form the young gentleman serving, he was trying to be so cool about the establishment's model of how `they' make `their' coffee that he wasn't actually thinking about, or listening to what... If you are down this end of town ( just behind the Fitz museum) this is a buzzy place for a coffee stop. Service is friendly and there is a proliferation of students with their Apple computers open (this is Cambridge after all!!) in between lectures/ tutorials. A place with so much more atmosphere than a Starbucks/ Costa, it's worth... More

I visited hot numbers 4 times during a trip to Cambridge. The breakfast was excellent- there is a great selection of pastries. The baristas are efficient and friendly, they remembered my drink order after the first visit. Highly recommended.
