If you're an espresso fiend, especially an antipodean looking for something akin to the quality and short intense shots you miss from "back home" then look no further. Great coffee, freshly roasted by HasBean in Staffordshire. Excellent owner-operators who really care about what they're doing...More

OK, a lot of my friends keep telling me how absolutely amazing this place is, how great coffee is, how delicious the food is... Well I gave it a go 4 times now, over the course of a year and I do not like it....More

This place was great for mid-day reprieves during the final year of my PhD (and I wish I had discovered it sooner!). The espresso is skillfully hand-pulled and the quality truly stands out. The ciabatta sandwiches were great as well. Coffee snobs will not be...More

Massaro's is one of the few coffee shops in the area with excellent coffee. (They even use lever espresso machines.) The pastry selection is delicious, and the husband/wife owners are cheerful and welcoming. A great spot for having a morning cappuccino with a friend or...More

Legend has it that Massaros has the best coffee in Cambridge. It is certainly very good coffee and reasonably priced. This is a proper Italian coffee bar run by proper Italians, and you can tell from the food. The back room is full of 30...More

This is the kind of place you queue for 30 minutes at in New York or San Francisco: seriously, the best in Cambridge... It isn't the cheapest but I can barely drink coffee anywhere else in Cambridge now... Great Ciabatta's too.

As a Kiwi in Cambridge, I despaired of getting good coffee until Massaro's opened. They take their coffee very seriously and it definitely shows in the quality of every cup. It is also reassuring to see their enthusiasm extends to ethically sourced and very tasty...More

Wonderful coffee here at Massaro's - the latte macchiato comes highly recommended, as do the sfogliatelle. But if you're eating lunch, you might want to look elsewhere - at £6.95 to eat in, their sandwiches are the most expensive in the hood!

This is the only place in central Cambridge with coffee comparable to the good Antipodean places in London (Milkbar, Flat White, etc). Folk who know what that means will find all their favourites here: flat whites, long blacks, piccolo lattes, and probably a couple they've...More
