We use the Hoops on occasion when we can't be bothered to drive to pick a Shilpa's in Papworth up (MUCH better, if you can be bothered to do the drive). This has happened several times before, but tonight our takeaway took an hour and 50 minutes to arrive, with no real apology, and to be told each time we... More

Wow, did not expect to have such an amazing meal here (no rhyme or reason just didn't expect such quality from an out of town curry house). Food was outstanding, menu choices a plenty. Several of us (party of 10) went for special and chefs recommended dishes (we went off the beaten track) and none of us were disappointed...quite the... More

Ordered a takeaway from here on a Friday night through JustEat. Was told it would take 45-60 mins but it took nearly an hour and a half to arrive. When I called to ask where the food was (20 mins after getting a message saying it was on its way) I was met with no real apology. However, the food... More

We have been to Hoops many times over the years and have tried other Indian restaurants in Cambridgeshire too. Hoops is consistently the best Indian restaurant we have been to and one of the best restaurants in Cambridgeshire. The food is always excellent and the ingredients are fresh and fragrant. The King prawn dishes are done to perfection. The prices... More

The food and service here is first rate. We had a lovely family meal, only thing I thought was that there was not a kids menu or provision for smaller portions. Having said that the kids loved the food and ate the adult portions! Everyone coming in for takeaway seemed to be known...repeat customers I should think.

A broad and ambitious menu, but everything is well prepared and tasty. A nicely laid out restaurant, and how do they keep the crisp white tablecloths so clean? The staff are friendly and efficient, whether you're popping in to collect a takeaway or staying for the whole evening.

Just had a terrific meal at the Hoops. I am a real curry fan and would suggest that tonight's experience ranks up there with some if the best I have fer had. The menu is a mix of the easily recognisable (Dansak, Balti etc.) with house specials which all have a detailed explanation. The staff are very friendly and only... More

I live 1 mile away from here, so it really is my local. I eat lots of indian food, all over the world, including in India, and I really rate the Hoops. I have never had anything but great food here. The menu is a bit different, and the food always cooked well. I thoroughly recommend making the effort to... More
