I come here often for a drink and some grub. When it's busy like today, the food is terrible. Everything was over cooked, service was rushed and the eating experience was stressful. However, coming in for a drink is friendly and I would certainly come back, just not to eat.

Last night I ordered fish n chips, when my food came the fish was overcooked. I complained to the staff, they got the manager who told me the fish was not overcooked. I said I did not want it. He said if I wanted somethng else it would be a very long wait because they were busy. I dont see why... More

What a find! A pub with Guinness straight from the pipes at St James Gate. Well it tasted as if it was straight from the brewery itself and bowls of the best chips I've tasted since me dear departed Ma got her wings and departed this mortal coil. I'm a Dub, and the Limerick woman that was in our company... More

5 stars purely for the fact that it's pretty much the only place that still serves after 1am. The atmospheres great, they have a jukebox and a dartboard, neither of which you find in many pubs. The ale tastes like pish, but if you're out at 1am looking for somewhere to continue drinking, the quality of the beer isn't too... More

The only reason to visit the White Swan is that it is open. The beer quality is average but could be a lot better. Live sport is shown

The White Swan is much bigger than it seems from outside. The pub has a good selection of beers and something that always attracts us on a night out is the jukebox. These days it is hard to find one in a modern pub. Primarily the pub is a sports venue, showing regular Premier League and rugby matches. A good... More

I popped in for a bite to eat with my family and ordered the super sandwich, My God it must of been a foot tall, made with four doorstep slices of bread and filled with various types of meat and cheese. I did not know whether to eat it or climb over it. The other food was basic pub grub,... More

The only pub that opens until late. The beer is ok, but the quality should be improved. Staff don't appear to use the IPA pump correctly. Placing the end into the bottom of the glass should only be done when using the north setting.

If they just looked after their beer a bit better, it could be such a good pub. The atmosphere is fine, the staff is friendly enough. But the ale . . .
