Enjoyed an evening here in July 2016. The place was buzzing with locals and tourists. The staff, though very busy, were pleasant and service was good. The beer was looked after well and food very good. Unfortunately, the toilets let the place down. I'm not going into details here - you wouldn't thank me for that. But, yuck!

Excellent food and good value for money. The bar staff keep their cellar really well and both know and appreciate their beer. The sense of history in this place is palpable, all of the graffiti from the WWII airmen providing a connection to the past. The only thing spoiling this pub if the frequent intrusions from tour groups, some more... More

This is the usual haunt whenever in Cambridge and I can't get enough of the place! Location is great, food and drinks are good and reasonably priced, and the atmosphere is fantastic! The whole Watson & Crick DNA thing also appeals to my nerdy nature. Make sure you pop in if you're in the vicinity!

Great place to grab a refreshing drink on a warm summers day. Also very cosy inside and has plenty of history to boot!

The Eagle often serves as a default meeting place for people from Cambridge because it is bang in the middle of town. In reality, it is a very, very average pub. The ales are poorly kept and the food is mediocre. It is always far too busy, mostly with tourists blocking up the corridors because they haven't understood that nobody... More

This restaurant is high im demand, which you don't notice since it's so big. The prices are very reasonable - even for a student - and the food is great. Just remember to place your order at the bar! I waited 10 minutes for someone to take my order before I realised that... :D

Visited this pub with the other grandparents and our granddaughter for a trip to Cambridge. Decided to visit the Frizwilliam Museum, have lunch then onto the Orchard for afternoon tea. First, museum closed on Monday, (must remember to check details before leaving). Ok, on to the Eagle, situated in the town, same road as the "Hawkins" clock on the corner,... More

A step back in time, just a beautiful place with so much history, make sure to head to the back of the pub to,check out the roof where the writing is, just incredible. The food was also incredible, feet delicious, a little, pricy but goes with the location. A must see when in Cambridge.
