Unfortunately they were out of IPA when we visited, but the food was tasty. RAF bar at the far end of the pub was very interesting.

We live in Cambridgeshire and when shopping we often go for a drink. I don't usually suggest the Eagle as my impression is that it is dirty. However we had time to kill yesterday afternoon so popped in for an hour or two. Surprisingly we got a table almost immediately as six guys were leaving. The table had their empty... More

We got a table, my red wine was very light and fruity, the beer was apparently good. It's a pub- a bit touristy but fine.

Nice cosy pub in the town centre with lots of seating areas. Good choice of menu. Food was good and the service was to. Will visit again

Great place for a lunch or dinner. Located just of the King's Parade and short walk from King'a College, it's a good place to grab a fortifying meal while sightseeing Cambridge. Separate rooms and lay out with cosy corners allows having relatively comfortable meal despite of hordes of tourists visiting the place. Menu is typically British, no surprises there, prices... Me and a mate came to The Eagle for dinner before seeing a gig and generally I left feeling mixed. On the one hand the main I had of Sausages and Mash was very good with generous portions. But on the other I found The Eagle especially for drinks to be pricey. 4.30 for a Pint of Landlord I just... More

Looking for a traditional pub experience with table numbers and ordering at the bar? This is it! The location is great. And we enjoyed a cider and burger here.

Took some Mainland Europe colleagues for a typical British Pub night. Lovely atmosphere, decent beer selection, good food and a good looking waitress to top it up. All of this in a 350-year old history laden venue. And a Chrismassy flair... Try it!

Frequented by locals and tourists alike, this place oozes old-world charm. It consists of several rooms, strung together (plus an attractive courtyard which would be great to sit out in during the warmer weather). Be sure to venture into the last room, the so-called "RAF [and USAF] bar", with its ceiling graffiti by WWII airmen, stationed nearby.

In the centre. Well known But a bit touristy. It was Friday night and hard to get the bar though it seems a bit lacking in authentic atmosphere which surprised me.
