Have been coming to this cafe for so many years! Such a nice place to quickly stop in, from walking from town to the station or vise versa. Their bagettes are a perfect little thing for lunch or if you are feeling hungier then their hot food selection always has such delious looking things that are alway different and mouth... More

I stopped here for lunch with a few friends, some of us had delicious cheesy crepes and others had wonderful hot baguettes, great for a chilly day. The portion sizes were generous and the service was fantastic. I love the touch of the French radio playing in the background. I definitely recommend!

Learn by your costly mistakes. Awful Breakfast, undercooked Hashbrowns Greasy plate with Soggy Mushrooms and imo Traditional English Breakfast does not have rubber 'German hotdogs overcooked Sausage' in it!!! And..........anemic toast which is a major no no.

LGF has been one of Cambridge's gems for the best part of 20 years. These days I tend to more frequently go to its sister restaurant, but yesterday I dropped in for a quick lunch with a friend. The service was friendly and the food as ever delicious, plentiful and enormously portioned. I can recommend the chicken with goats cheese,... More

Quite expensive I felt. Outskirts of town, shouldn't command overdone prices. However, the food is good, the service is adequate. But the front door doesn't close properly, and the staff made no effort to shut it. Too, a staff member cleaned tables with a pungent substance whilst people were eating.

More quality than quality but good choices (cafeteria) if you choose carefully. The beef bourguingnon was a bit too sweet but the ribs were good. More of a student vibe than a high end restaurant.

I have eaten at this restaurant many times and the lasange is usually a meal with a rich sauce, full of mince beef and pasta strips and excellent. Today 4th July it was absolutely aweful. It felt you were just eating tasteless pasta with hardly any beef mince and a dreadful sauce. I am going to write to the proprietor... More

Never expected to find such a nice place for breakfast. Best coffee I've bought in ages, The plum tart was as good as many I've sampled in Germany

I have visited this restaurant/cafe several times since I first discovered it. It has become a local lunch time favourite. It has such a lovely atmosphere. It is like a cafe which serves from a menu as well as several hot cooked meals and salads, pulses, drunks and cakes. To date I have tried their stuffed peppers, vegetarian lasagne, fish... More

An imaginative Valentine's menu (fixed price but a good choice for each course). The atmosphere is a little lacking but the friendly service makes up for that.
