About
Winter or Summer the Le De is the perfect pub to relax in. Our large garden is child friendly and dogs are welcome provided they are on a lead. When the nights draw in the open fire and low beamed ceilings provide a warm and cosy atmosphere. The large car park is fenced off from the garden.

Visited in October 2020, booking a table was easy and we were welcomed as soon as we arrived. The food was delicious, pricing was reasonable (huge portions!) and the service was lovely!

Having lived in wycombe for 11 years, it took lockdown for us to have time to be able to explore the local countryside and walks. One walk is through Hughenden, naphill and back through downley to wycombe. This time we did it later in the...day which enabled us to pop in here for a drink. We sat outside so cant comment on the interior, but the pub had a nice big garden and seems kid friendly. This is the type of traditional pub that you usually go to the bar to order drinks, but due to the government's new restrictions, they've had to quickly adapt to table service. Despite this, they've adapted really well and service was prompt and friendly. One big plus was that we were made to feel welcome. Alot of pubs recently have gone way over the top with covid restrictions where you get rules explained to you on entry and generally made to feel like you're in a dictatorship. Here they have the restrictions but they are done in a way to not interfere with your enjoyment of going for a drink. One example of this was one customer accidently entered without a mask, he was asked to wait outside whilst they went to give him a mask so he could enter. I've seen people shouted at by a jumped up little Hitler for accidently entering other pubs without a mask. Will go back and try the food next time.More

Moved near Hughenden recently and was told about this pub. Visited a couple of weeks ago and returned today with my dad for the Brie and cranberry sandwiches which are delicious. Lovely friendly pub with reasonably priced good food. What a find! We need to...support our local businesses through this period. Will be back.More

Visited last week with a friend for the first time in several months. We did not pre-book but things were quiet (Fri lunchtime) so we were easily accommodated. There's a sanitiser for customer use at the entrance and signs indicating the one-way system to the...loos/exit. Food was good, staff welcoming, service good.More

We booked a table at this pub in order to get to know the area a little better. The booking was made as the uk seeks to emerge from its Covid-19 lockdown. The booking process was friendly and helpful. The welcome warm, service friendly and...the food excellent. The food really was very good and very reasonably priced. Recommended.More

Absolutely love coming here. Very friendly and helpful staff. Great to come here for lunch in the afternoon during the week. But really go for their fully loaded chips, just ask to hold the BBQ sauce. We go for a walk to get their chips,...they are the best cheesy chips you have ever had, they are slaughtering other pubs with this, it is just not fair. I order this with an unholy amount of mayonnaise and it is just criminally good. Just order it, eat it and you'll thank me, but be warned it will ruin cheesy chips in other pubs.More

Pre Covid I have recommended this pub & brought family here for Sunday lunches. I still feel that the food and service is still wonderful. My big concern as a healthcare worker is that I did not see any individual hand sanitizers anywhere on the...outside tables and none of the staff wore a mask - it's very, very difficult to maintain social distance when putting food on the table in front of a customer. I realize it's not compulsory for staff to wear a mask at this time but if I had been aware of this situation I would have gone elsewhere for lunch. Based on this I cannot recommend this pub at this time which I'm sad to say as the owners are a lovely, hard working couple.More

We booked a table at the le de Spencer on Saturday for the 4 of us including 1 child. On arrival Mark showed us to our table and explained how the new normal works. The outside tables are well spaced out and there's even a...small kids play area. We ordered food and I have to say it was fantastic, Lovely and fresh and great value for money ( the chocolate waffle) is a winner. The pub is child friendly and the staff especially Mark are great with the customers and makes you feel very welcome. This is a great little village pub, well worth a visit and we will definitely be back, thanks for a lovely afternoon.More

Stopped for lunch on an 8 mile circular walk. Well organised for social distancing and good personal sanitation excellently executed without fuss. Lovely lunch and great cask ales, oh it’s so good to now have a watering hole on our walk after lockdown!!
